Dear Legislator,
On the heels of many reports of SUV-sized drones flying over New Jersey and other locations, the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Defense have a lot of explaining to do.
These departments are claiming they do not know what these drones are — while at the same time claiming that they are not a threat. But how can they know they are not a threat if they don’t know what they are?
Our nation has publicly exposed a critical loophole that could be used by any of our foreign enemies to attack Americans on U.S. soil. This must be addressed and addressed quickly for the safety of our nation — and most importantly to not deprive us of our constitutionally protected freedoms.
There needs to be clarity as to who handles the airspace in our nation and what protections need to be put in place to protect the privacy and safety of individual Americans.
