Advancing Life and Liberty Through Action
Dec 17, 2018

The best gifts cannot be wrapped, nor placed under the tree. These are the gifts of our Savior’s sacrifice, being able to spread that good news, and celebrating it with family and friends.
For some, being with family is not an option. Liberty Counsel Action is deeply involved in a proposed policy that will encourage prisoners be incarcerated near their family or, if not dangerous, given the option of house arrest. In addition, we are pushing to strengthen faith-based partnerships between prisons and churches or religious ministries.
Right now, we have a small window as President Trump and legislators are focusing on justice policy votes --starting today. This is a critical opportunity to strengthen families and support religious freedom. One snapshot found that inmates who were involved in religious programs were 75% less likely to return to jail (compared to normal recidivism rates)!
Liberty Counsel Action is on the front lines providing legal counsel in high-level meetings on Capitol Hill fighting for these changes. The power of Christ’s redemption is worth sharing with inmates and subsequently with their children.
The heart of what we celebrate at Christmas is this hope to the broken and forgotten. Support Liberty Counsel Action’s work by giving today!
Sincerely,

Mat Staver
Chairman, Liberty Counsel Action
P.S. Right now we have the opportunity to impact those in jail for generations. Liberty Counsel Action is fighting for policies that will encourage faith-based prison outreaches. Partner with us to build a foundation that will open prison doors and open hearts to true redemption and bring hope to some of the darkest places in America! ![]()
