At 2:00 PM today there will be another hearing on the so-called "Equality Act" in the U.S. House and Education and Labor subcommittee on Civil Rights and Human Services. If it is anything like last week's hearing it will be filled with sob-stories, outright lies and a concerted effort to silence anyone speaking up for freedom of our faith and actions.

We are fighting against some of the best funded, highest powered left-wing groups on Capitol Hill. Can I count on you to help us stop this bill? - Mat

Liberty Counsel Action will be present in the hearing today. There are seven Democrats (who have all co-sponsored HR 5) and only four Republicans on this subcommittee. We are praying and working on a plan to stop this bill. Liberty Counsel Action has a working relationship with many U.S. Representatives and we are doing our best to fight this bill at every turn.

Also, at any moment we are expecting a vote from the Judicial Committee, which heard one-sided testimony pushing HR 5 last week.

If this battle is lost, every American will be forced to bow to the agenda of sexual confusion or face devastating consequences. Will you support our staff's efforts to help articulate and explain the dangers found in this bill? We must hold this radical agenda in check, or our future and our families will be facing well-coordinated persecution enabled by this bill.
