In March of this year alone, there were more than 100,000 border enforcement actions taken by the Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) agency. This is 516 percent higher than this time last year and nearly 40 percent more than the previous month! Experts estimate 1 million new people will illegally cross into America in 2019. That’s more than the entire population of any one of six states!

Our law enforcement officers are being absolutely overwhelmed by these numbers while being saddled with bad border enforcement policies. Congressional Republicans and Democrats have failed to find an effective answer. Now, as a new Acting Secretary of Homeland Security starts his first few days in leadership, join me in sending the Acting Secretary a clear message in support of law enforcement on our southern border. - Mat

An American citizen named Dominic died riding his motorcycle when he was hit by a drunk illegal immigrant. In addition to the pleasure he got riding his bike, Dominic loved flying planes and was voted his city’s "Volunteer of the Year." His life was ended by Juan Zacarias Tzun, who had two previous drunken-driving arrests and a grand theft felony conviction. Tzun spent only 35 days in jail before he was deported, according to reports. 

Sadly, illegal immigrants are about 10 times more likely to commit murder than either American citizens or legal immigrants. Officers have arrested and/or convicted 4,000 illegal immigrants for murder in America during just the last two years. While there are many good people who want to come to America and are willing to submit to the proper process, we cannot throw open the doors to everyone who wants to come here! And we must protect our innocent friends and neighbors. 

Right now, the Acting Secretary of Homeland Security is just starting his leadership of the department and he needs to hear from us. The Trump administration is forced to contend with a biased media, Democrats who lie about the extent of the crisis and even some Republicans who look the other way - all at the same time. You and I are among the few Americans who are willing to stand up and demand that immigrants follow our laws, too!
