This week, U.S. House Democrats passed an appropriations bill with lots more funding earmarked for Planned Parenthood. This legislation greatly increases tax dollars going to everything from abortion ads, to graphic sex education to directly funding abortion for low-income women in America and internationally! This funding bill tries to reverse all the progress that President Trump has made in restraining the culture of death.

Democrats fast-tracked the first "MegaBus" budget bill through the House and sent it to the Senate. This bill, HR 2740, includes the following:

• Overturns the Mexico City Policy blocking international aid from paying for abortions
• Demands that not less than 750 million dollars be spent on "international family planning," including abortions and abortifacients (this is a 175 million increase from last year)
• Allows the United Nations Population Fund to spend up to 55 million on abortions overseas (this is more than a 40 percent increase)
• Includes the Global HER Act and allows tax dollars to be spent on advertising abortions internationally
• Sends 110 million to public schools for graphic and damaging sex-ed programs in America (this is almost a 10 percent increase)
• Increases Title X funding to 400 million, which provides low or no-cost abortions and abortifacients (this is a 114 million increase)
• Prohibits ethics reviews of fetal tissue research requests
• Provides tax dollars to pay for new research on abortifacients and contraceptives
• Alllows the "HIV/AIDS Working Capital Fund" to fund abortifacients and abortions
• Elevates abortions to a "human right" and demands the State Department monitor and report on any "violations" and it
• Forces medical staff and doctors to perform abortions and other controversial procedures.

The vast majority of Americans believe that we should not force tax payers to fund abortions. Yet, year after year, that is exactly what our nation continues to do. And I've had enough of it. I hope you have, too. It's time to end being a silent majority. Now is the moment to demand that our legislators stop funneling our money toward this evil end.

Already this year, Liberty Counsel Action was instrumental in ending the unnecessary use of "humanized" mice and other fetal tissue in research.
