The success or failure to implement radical policies rests on our southern border. The Left knows it, but do you? There is an all-out battle for the future of our nation unfolding in D.C. today.

President Trump is facing a battle at every turn. While the rest of us were celebrating our nation's independence, California judges were working to destroy it. The Ninth Circuit blocked the 2.5 billion dollars President Trump redirected to wall funding by executive order.

But that's not all. The House of Representatives this week debated the National Defense Authorization Act (HR 2500). This budget bill provides zero funding to protect against one of our greatest domestic threats—our southern border. In fact, it directly bans the use of military funding to prevent an invasion through our southern border.

Already, our border patrol has apprehended illegal immigrants from Syria, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and even Africa—all coming through our southern border. It is naive to think that 100 percent of these people are coming here to strengthen our nation. Yet even just a handful of terrorists infiltrating our nation can cause an incredible amount of death and destruction in our communities.

Recently radicals (like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez) traveled to the border and spread lies about the conditions they found. I have been at our southern border and my friend Samuel Rodriguez recently returned. The situation there is not at all what AOC has been describing.

But rather than fixing the borders, radicals in Congress are trying to throw out more money towards the illegal immigrants who are in America. The House just approved a bill to give 4.5 billion dollars of aid to shelters housing illegal immigrants. It sets up more federal red tape by demanding certain nutritional and hygiene standards be offered by every shelter to every person.

This will serve to entice more people to make the long and dangerous trip to enter the United States. Unfortunately, this increase in aid will exacerbate this problem in the long run.
