The Department of Homeland Security has revealed that smuggling rings are abducting and manipulating children to pose as a fake "family" with criminals and illegal immigrants. These children are then used to force border detention centers to release their fake "relatives" into America in less than three weeks.

These young, nearly helpless children are forced to make this dangerous journey often with complete strangers. One in three women are raped in their attempt to travel these same roads. And these children are being forced to travel with smugglers and human traffickers.

Once they reach America, the children are then smuggled back into Mexico to be handed over to another group of criminals to start the process all over again.

This is happening right here, in America's own backyard! And it is encouraged by our own legal policy. Policies that the House Democrats could change but they stubbornly refuse to do so.

Former Homeland Security Secretary Kristjen Nielsen said 10,000 children "were sent here without a parent, without a legal guardian, in the hands of smugglers, in the hands of traffickers." And the actual number is higher.

With basically open borders with Mexico, it is impossible for Homeland Security to stop the invasion. We need to have strong borders and increased security to be able to catch these smugglers and free thousands of children from their clutches. Will you help us send a clear message to Congress to stop this mess?

What is even more heartbreaking is that this has been happening since 2015 when a ruling from Judge Dolly Gee created this loophole. Thousands of children have been sent on this death march. While Democrat leaders are sitting on their plush couches in their fenced-in homes, they declare there is no reason to strengthen border security.

How many children must be ripped from their parents and given to strangers and human traffickers to use and abuse in order to game our laws and enter our nation?

This exposes how very little these D.C. radicals actually care about children and how quick they are willing to sacrifice them in their quest for power.

We cannot sit by and let these radicals win. I will not stand by and allow these children to be ignored and forgotten. Will you join me to make our voices heard on Capitol Hill? Now is the time to protect these children, our border, and our nation.

We have been actively working with While House staff on this critical issue. We are seeking ways to impact border security and protect our nation. While we support legal immigration, we must create a system to vet and accept the many law-abiding people who will contribute to our great nation.
