One ISIS fighter walked away and sought asylum. His shocking claims reveal ISIS’ plans to use our porous southern border to bring America to our knees.

Abu Henricki, is a Canadian citizen of Trinidadian descent. In May he gave a private interview to Syrian Democratic Forces. He said that he was part of a whole group that was recruited to travel by boat into Mexico and then up through our southern border to inflict terrorism on American soil.

The group wanted to target America’s financial centers to “cripple” our economy. It was being led by individuals already in America who are able to provide fake passports and documents and help smuggle people across the border, according to Henricki.

This illustrates the obvious. We know we have a problem on our southern border, and our enemies know it, too. House Democrats are continuing to tie President Trump’s hands and hamper his ability to keep our nation safe. With the budget battles, the Senate Republicans are facing intense pressure from their Democratic colleagues to cave on the additional needs for border security even though Democrats show a willingness to spend money on nearly everything else.

ISIS is serious about their hatred of America.

When Henricki refused to carry out the attack, he said he was arrested. “I knew I went to prison because I said no.” He said, “They tortured me,” and he was beaten “a lot” and "suspended from the back, standing on my toes, given no food for a few days, waterboarded – while blindfolded, and they put a bag over your head.”

His wife was also arrested and forced to listen to others being tortured before they were both released with stress-related medical issues that led to the miscarriage of their child, according to Henricki.

ISIS is willing to fight this battle to the death. We need to respond in the best way to keep innocent Americans safe. We must be able to vet who is coming into our nation, welcome those who will improve it, and turn away those wanting to cause our nation harm.
