To be honest, it is shocking that we even have to fight for nutrition and medical care for newborn babies! But even more heart-wrenching is that, unless five legislators change their minds in the next two business days, we will lose this battle!

I don’t know if you saw Alabama Sen. Doug Jones yesterday break out in laughter when he was asked if abortion should be banned after five months (because that is when we know that a baby feels excruciating pain). He barely controlled his laughter enough to reply, “What a silly, [more laughter] a stupid question.”

The question is not stupid. And it is shocking to the senses to have a U.S. legislator from the conservative state of Alabama laugh outright at the thought of protecting the lives of these little ones in and outside of the womb.

I want you to be fully aware of what we are facing in D.C. There is horrific evil that is being protected by those in power. We urgently need a flood of voices to their offices to bring them to their senses. Your fax will go directly to their offices and, by law, it has to be recorded and treated as official correspondence on this issue.
