U.S. Surgeon General Jerome Adams just announced the administration will be discarding the disease model created by Bill Gates. Let me explain why this is a big step in the right direction. Bill Gate's model has been consistently wrong and has led to a significant waste of effort and supplies—and a discarding of our constitutional freedoms.

Seattle, WA, just quietly dismantled an emergency military field hospital that served exactly zero total patients. The Mercy Ship in New York has capacity for 1,000 patients, but it was recently reported having only 70. The good work of Samaritan's Purse field hospital in Central Park now has empty beds. And during what was supposed to be the peak week, New York's Sinai Hospital announced it had canceled plans to turn a local church into an overflow facility.

Now is the time to turn the corner for freedom in America. We are launching a petition supporting President Trump to start a systematic, organized rollback of lockdowns in communities with the fewest cases. Some entire communities have zero or a few cases, and yet they are on the same lockdown as large cities with thousands of cases. This blanket restriction of freedom defies common sense.

From the beginning, people justified the heavy-handed government action as trying to "flatten the curve." Now even these hardest-hit locations have empty beds, unused medical supplies, and even a completely empty hospital.

Now is the time to turn our attention to much more widespread problems. Our businesses, ministries, churches, and those who provide and receive community services are crumbling under the crushing weight of an economy being pushed off a cliff. From Day One, I warned about these unintended consequences:

• One suicide prevention service reported a 40% increase in requests for help in just one month.
• Experts suggest hundreds of thousands of children in America are vulnerable to child abuse due to parents not being accustomed to caring for their own children. A family crisis hotline experienced a 30% increase in requests for help, in just one week.
• International police forces are seeing an increase in westerners paying to livestream children in the Philippines, Thailand, and Cambodia whose abusers are taking specific orders and requests as to how to degrade and abuse these children.
• India reported a 95 percent increase in indecent adult content.
• Divorce attorneys are swamped.
• Alcohol consumption has risen, along with a dramatic increase in domestic violence.
• And the government's expensive small business loans (which many banks have already run out of) are mathematically insufficient to keep many small companies afloat.

Not only is there a huge emotional tax on people in lockdown, there is also a huge financial tax on our economy as we struggle on an international stage to show strength and stability.

The "cure" cannot be worse than the disease. We need to start restoring freedom in every place that we reasonably can as soon as possible. Help us encourage President Trump to take action by adding your name to our petition right now.
