Impeachment Trial is Illegal

The Democrats are continuing to push impeachment of Trump, even though their charade is unconstitutional because Trump is no longer in office.

But that didn't slow the U.S. House. Last night, they delivered impeachment papers to the Senate, which is eager to rush through a sham trial against Trump.

Shockingly, 23 Republican senators have refused to make a public statement against this trial. Some Republicans like Sen. Mitt Romney and Minority Leader Mitch McConnell are positioning themselves as eagerly willing to convict Trump. Make no mistake – the ultimate target is YOU!

We need to stop the Republicans from joining this shocking miscarriage of justice. Send your urgent fax to U.S. senators demanding that they fight against this. -Mat

 

Impeachment may ONLY be used against a person in office:

Article 2 Section 1 states: "The executive power shall be vested in a President of the United States of America. He shall hold his office during the term of four years..."

Article 2 Section 4 states: "The President, Vice President and all civil officers of the United States, shall be removed from office on impeachment for, and conviction of, treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors."

Trump is no longer in office. The Senate has no authority to convict an individual citizen.

But their actions behind razor wire fences more closely mimic the Marxist trials of the eastern bloc than a free America.

This goes so much deeper than punishing Trump. Sen. Josh Hawley was the first senator to voice concerns about election integrity. But now, he is under relentless attacks. Yesterday Hawley shared:

"Before Biden even took office, he shamefully targeted me for voicing my concerns by comparing me to a Nazi. He went even farther saying I should be 'flat beaten.' Talking heads in the media were also calling for my resignation, and 'keyboard warriors' on Twitter were calling me a terrorist."

Make no mistake - the real target of this radical hate is YOU and anyone who loves God and America.

Rep. Stephanie Murphy (D-FL), proposed a bill to bar from the Armed Services or federal jobs anyone who supports Trump or publicly voiced concern about election fraud!

Democrat leaders in the Virginia state legislature removed three Republican legislators from all their committee appointments who dared to send a letter about election fraud.

Thankfully, there is a growing number of Republican Senators who are standing against this unlawful impeachment. But there are not enough Senators who have committed to blocking this abuse.

Sen. Romney is joining Minority Leader Mitch McConnell in eagerly pushing for a Senate trial and conviction of a private citizen.

Turn discouragement into resolve and hope. Biden is not even close to the "most popular president." The number of people who viewed Trump's Farewell speech dwarfed Biden's Inauguration speech. And there were so many "dislikes" on Biden's speech compared to the likes until YouTube reduced them. But even after that, the "dislikes" once again overwhelmed the "likes."

"We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed" (2 Cor 4:8-9).

I can assure you that we will not be erased or marginalized.
