On Tuesday, we won a skirmish, but the battle is far from over. The Senate Rules and Administration Committee deadlocked 9-9. This temporarily prevents HR 1 (S 1) from going to the full Senate for a vote. But Sen. Schumer (D-NY) will try to bring the bill to the floor anyway.
Democrats need only one more senator to reach 50. If one more senator supports this dangerous bill, the vice president will break the tie, and the bill could slip through under the budget reconciliation. This battle is NOT over.
Democrats are dangling millions of dollars for reelection campaigns in front of Democrat and Republican senators. This bill will give each senator up to 1.8 billion dollars for their reelection budget.
We must hold the 50 Republican senators and Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) accountable. Demand that S 1 be stopped with your urgent fax to the whole Senate before they permanently destroy fair elections. — Mat

Before I address HR 1 (S 1), there is an important election fraud lawsuit in Antrim County, Michigan. Below is a summary of what was presented this week:
First, 1,061 phantom ballots don't exist on the voter rolls.
Second, there was nearly 100% turnout of ages 65 to 80, which is impossible.
Finally, more than 1-in-5 of all mail-in ballots were sent from the registrar to Post Office boxes (20.3% total). In Chestonia Township, that number jumped to more than 1-in-3. This is highly suspicious.
In the Central Lake Township, two volunteers found about 138 ballots with "the very same signature," which the Democrat Secretary of State knew about but did nothing.
There was no process within the audit to flag these votes!
Real progress is being made through comprehensive election reform laws in Florida, Georgia, Texas and in many other states. As in Michigan, litigation and audits are ongoing in several states.

Yesterday, House Republicans removed Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) from her role as GOP conference chairwoman. This could also have an impact on the seven Republican senators who voted to convict President Trump.
If one votes for S 1, the bill could pass. This might include Senators Richard Burr (NC) and Pat Toomey (PA), who are not seeking re-election, plus Susan Collins (ME), Lisa Murkowski (AK) and Mitt Romney (UT), who are.
If one senator pulls a "McCain" and votes with the Democrats, or if we lose Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV), then Schumer will use his position to place the bill on the floor and slip it in through the budget reconciliation. This is why we must keep pressure on every senator.

There are several alternative paths forward for Democrats on this bill. One is through budget reconciliation, which only needs 51 votes.
The other is unanimous consent of whichever senators are on the floor at that moment. So, if Democrats can find a time when Republicans are not on the floor or when those present do not object, S 1 can pass.

You can help us fight this bill now! Our presence on Capitol Hill is critical as we work with members of Congress and monitor these threats.
LC Action is fighting this bill along with other bills, like HR 5, the so-called "Equality Act." We are fighting against vaccine passports, which are coming in like a flood.
But we can only stand in the gap because of your support. Each month, we rely 100% on the support of people like you to continue fighting these battles. Please consider becoming a monthly supporter of LC Action or sending a one-time gift today.

I encourage you to pray and fight for this bill to be blocked. If HR 1 (S 1) passes, we lose America. Free and fair elections are the foundation of a free people.
