Five precious late-term babies were murdered and thrown in the trash at an abortion facility in Washington, D.C. Their bodies were destined to be incinerated before a pro-life activist asked the person picking up the “waste” if she could give their bodies a proper burial.

Even knowing what they would find inside this container didn’t prepare these activists for the 115 bodies they discovered. Five of them were old enough to live outside the womb and appeared to have been born alive before being brutally murdered.

This proves that it is PAST time to pass the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act (Born Alive Act). This bill has 204 co-sponsors in the U.S. House and 46 co-sponsors in the U.S. Senate.

As shocking as the horrific murders of these five viable likely-born-alive babies is, sadly it is even worse when you understand that this evil is not something new in America.

This has been happening for decades.

A children’s doctor, in his first year, was approached by a nurse. “She told me there was a baby crying on the garbage can in the little treatment room,” he shared.

He found a little baby who had survived an abortion but was then abandoned. When the new doctor discovered this baby boy, the baby was wrapped in a hospital blanket, crying, and placed on top of a metal trashcan lid.

This compassionate doctor, Rocco Pascucci, immediately started giving lifesaving care—warmth, oxygen and nutrition—to the baby, who was estimated to be at around 24 weeks of development. Once the baby boy was stabilized, Dr. Pascucci was suddenly interrupted.

“A high-risk OB/GYN came in and yelled at me,” said Dr. Pascucci, according to LifeSite News. “He told me I had just saved an abortion. He got into a huff and walked out.”

Did you catch that? Dr. Pascucci hadn’t saved a life; he had only saved “an abortion.”

With quick thinking and, thankfully, thick skin, Dr. Pascucci saved the child. That perfectly healthy baby boy is now a 39-year-old man. But he almost didn’t have the opportunity to live!

Tragically, little has changed concerning abortion survivors in the last 40 years. And it won’t change until you and I demand change. Send your urgent faxes to members of the House and Senate to pass the Born Alive Act and let them know America is watching.

Planned Parenthood abortionists were caught “harvesting” body parts from living babies through the undercover journalism of Liberty Counsel’s client Sandra Merritt.

Some abortionists are illegally altering their abortion procedures, putting the mother at greater risk, to be able to pull a live baby out feet first while leaving the head inside the womb so they can then harvest the organs. This procedure is unbelievably brutal and grotesque.
