Today, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer filed cloture on the NDAA military funding bill. This could push the vote on the NDAA military funding bill to just a few hours from now. This is a must-pass bill.

Yesterday, I was in the U.S. Court of Appeals presenting oral arguments against the COVID shot mandate in the military. We have seen and heard thousands of stories of incredible pain caused by the COVID shot mandates in the military. But for Susan*, what is hanging in the balance is very personal. She overcame a brutal rape and the soul-crushing emotional guilt and pain of her abortion. Afterward, she found the redeeming love of Jesus Christ.

But our military is trying to force Susan right back into her darkest days, demanding she participate in financially supporting an abortion through the inclusion of fetal cell-line testing on the COVID shot. She feels this denies Christ’s command over her life and invalidates the precious forgiveness she has found in Him.

This decorated Marine requested a religious exemption to Biden’s COVID shot mandate. It was denied. 

She appealed the denial. Her appeal was also denied.

If she is forced out of the military now, she will have little hope of getting justice. This is why I am asking you to please help us urge the U.S. Senate to pass an important amendment that is being pushed by Sens. Ted Cruz and Mike Lee in this military funding bill.

This amendment will direct the military to reinstate at the same level and offer back pay to any military member that was discriminated against for their faith! This is a fantastic amendment that will go a long way toward righting the thousands of wrongs that have happened in every branch of our military. Quickly send an urgent fax to the Senate today. —Mat

Susan wasn’t raised in a Christian home. She kind of knew God existed but didn’t think the Creator of the Universe knew or cared one whit about her.

As a teen, Susan was brutally raped. The assault left bruises on her body and a baby in her womb. Out of humiliation and anger, she chose to have an abortion. But the procedure left scars on Susan’s soul. The humiliation of her rape was compounded by the shame of taking her unborn child’s life. Susan hated herself.

Two years later, Susan joined the U.S. Marine Corps, hoping service would wash the painful stain from her soul. And while Susan’s exemplary service, including combat deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan, brought her success and promotions up to the rank of Lt. Colonel, guilt locked Susan’s heart in shame. She condemned herself as a murderer and tortured herself in a multitude of ways.

But God had a plan. Susan met another Marine, a Christian man, who introduced her to life in Christ. The two married. Now both face Biden’s unlawful shot mandate and a total loss of income if they are kicked out of the military.

I have had the chance to meet this amazing woman. I ask you to stand up for Susan, her husband and thousands of others in similar situations in our military. This one amendment in the U.S. Senate to the military funding bill can stop the abuse of our service members and restore religious freedom for these defenders of freedom. Don’t let Joe Biden cleanse the military of Christians and people of faith!

Susan’s husband taught her about the saving grace, forgiveness and new life Jesus Christ offers. Her guilt and shame were washed away. Susan was born again.

Susan and her husband continued to serve in the Marine Corps. After more than 20 years of service, Susan now has many medals, citations and the title Lt. Colonel. She and her husband attend church faithfully while at home and deployed, and she has even set up her own ministry to help less privileged communities. Susan shares her powerful testimony of God’s love, grace and forgiveness whenever the Holy Spirit leads.

Susan’s story is a wonderful example of how God can turn even the greatest shame and heartbreak into something glorious.

But Joe Biden and his Department of Defense (DOD) are desperately trying to force Susan to deny her deeply held Christian beliefs in order to remain in the Marine Corps.

Every one of the available COVID jabs utilized the cells of aborted children in their testing and/or development. God has forgiven and healed Susan from the shame, pain and emotional scars of her own abortion. There is no way she will use her own body to financially support and encourage another abortion.

Susan and her husband understand that abortion steals the life of an innocent child. As a result, they REFUSE to take any of the available COVID injections. Taking these shots would put Susan in the position of reliving her rape and the subsequent abortion. Worse yet, taking those abortion-derived COVID shots would be a rejection and denial of Christ’s work in Susan’s life and her family’s ministry.

Susan’s husband, George*, shared this powerful statement. He said:

If our service and sacrifice mean nothing to the leaders in those key positions, that is between them and God. But our service and sacrifice for freedom up until now means nothing if we surrender to evil instead of standing for freedom. So, whoever may judge me, I will stand before God and men, with my conscience clear and my honor clean.

If this amendment is not added to the military funding bill, both Susan and her husband could be kicked out of the military and lose everything. Urge the Senate with your critical faxes to pass the Cruz/Lee amendment now.
