We Want Answers

The U.S. military shot down four “balloons” or flying objects in eight days. The White House just confirmed that the biggest one is a “high-altitude balloon program for intelligence collection that’s connected to the [Chinese] People’s Liberation Army,” said National Security Council Coordinator for Strategic Communications John Kirby. “There is no question in our minds that that system was designed to surveil, that it was an intelligence asset.”

Had a private individual not filmed a balloon flying over Montana, we would never have known about these balloons. What we do know (which is still very little) raises serious questions about this administration and the Pentagon.

Little is known about what these balloons might be carrying. They easily could have the capacity to carry a dirty bomb, disperse germ warfare, trigger an EMP to shut down all our communication technology, launch a hyper or supersonic missile that can travel at twice the speed of the F-22 … or even some devastating innovation that we don’t yet know exists.

What we do know is: our military is woefully unprepared, and the Biden administration lacks both transparency and resolve.

Once the media broke the news about the balloon, there was little to no action. Regarding the fourth object that was shot down over Lake Huron, the Department of Defense (DOD) told Rep. Matt Rosendale (R-MT) that they couldn’t track it very well at night and so they had to wait until morning. Claims are coming out that our military might not even be monitoring our nation’s airspace at the altitude these “objects” were flying.

Only after the U.S. House excoriated the military in a congressional hearing last week did the action start. Our legislators have the power to demand action, but it is up to us to keep the pressure on elected officials to get results. I’ll discuss more concerns below, but at this point, Congress needs to investigate, require transparency and demand decisive action to protect American air space.

Protect Americans and our airspace!

While these objects appear capable of navigation, some military pilots “did not see anything on the object that appeared able to propel it, that it seemed like there was no way that this was actually able to stay in the air.” But that was not the only mystery. In fact, one pilot reported that “this object was actually interfering with the sensors of their aircraft and they couldn't figure out why.” When officials gave the order to shoot the object, they didn’t even know if it could be successful.

The military shot one of the objects down over Lake Huron, which is connected with, or flows down into, four of the five Great Lakes. These lakes represent the largest amount of fresh water in the world. Thirty million people rely on the Great Lakes for drinking water.

The military told Americans not to touch any parts that were shot down that might wash ashore. This exposes how vulnerable we are to these flying objects — and how little we know about them.

We need to catch up on a massive military effort. Can we bring down a balloon without using missiles first? Can we examine the device without blowing it up? What technology is it using? What is its purpose? How versatile is its technology? Where are these objects being launched? Why can’t we track these or shoot them down at night?

The Pentagon now says a balloon flew over America when Donald Trump was president, but neither Trump nor anyone in his cabinet were briefed on that matter. Did this happen? If so, why wasn’t the president briefed?

Our questions need answers! Join with other concerned Americans to urge Congress to demand answers. Send faxes to the House and Senate. And sign the petition at the bottom of this email. Have your friends do the same. This is an urgent matter of national security.

We can never forget the PERSECUTION, TORTURE and DEATH that the Chinese government is capable of levying against its own citizens. China presents a clear and present danger to America and the world.

We cannot allow the DOD, Joe Biden or his administration to coddle China or to place Americans at risk. We need answers and we need them now. How long have these objects been given free rein to traverse our land? Why? And why do we not have a strategic plan to protect this intermediate air space? We spend billions on defensive technology, but then learn that an old-fashioned balloon poses a serious threat to our national security!

Tell Congress to investigate and demand transparency now!
