What is happening at our border is more than a crisis — it is a clear and present danger. Joe Biden has created the perfect storm for our enemies to mount a deadly attack on American soil by bringing terrorists and supplies up through our border. In fact, the attacks have already begun. I’ll share how this even puts a former U.S. President in danger.

Since Biden’s inauguration in January 2020, the FBI has caught a record-breaking 169 illegals on its terrorism watchlist who entered America through the southern border.

We have no idea how many known terrorists have slipped through as some of the 1.5 million illegals have crossed the border under the Biden administration and they have disappeared within our nation.

There is no time to waste. Every day this situation continues, terrorists will continue to pour across our border. Americans will be killed and abused by some of these terrorists, gang members, and criminals.

Right now, the U.S. House has a bill that will stop this border crisis. We need to urge our legislators to do everything in their power to keep law-abiding Americans safe and end this clear and present danger.

U.S. Representative John Katko was the ranking member of the House Homeland Security Committee and a former federal prosecutor based in El Paso, Texas. He stated that international cartels were “masterfully” exploiting our southern border. “Individuals that they have on the watchlist for terrorism are now starting to exploit the southern border.”

Under Joe Biden’s watch, a man named Shihab Ahmed Shihab Shihab planned to assassinate former President George W. Bush. After the would-be assassin overstayed his visa, he began smuggling people across the southern border.

Shihab bragged to undercover FBI informants that he’d already successfully smuggled in two Hezbollah operatives.

Shihab’s plan was to “smuggle four additional Iraqi foreign nationals into the United States for the purpose of killing former President George W. Bush in retaliation of Iraqi deaths during ‘Operation Iraqi Freedom.’ Shihab then allegedly planned to smuggle the four out of the United States via the United States/Mexico border after they carried out the assassination.”

Shihab allegedly “met with others in a hotel room in Columbus, Ohio, to look at sample firearms and law enforcement uniforms.” He flew to Texas and conducted surveillance of both the Bush’s homes in Dallas and a central Texas ranch to plan how to stalk and kill the former president.

Thankfully, the first person Shihab intended to smuggle in was a fictitious undercover FBI agent, and thus he was apprehended. But not before he created a plan that others are surely following to sneak terrorists into our nation to destroy us from the inside.

America is at risk from those who hate us the most, and we are welcoming them into our backyard on a daily basis.

Our enemies recognize our weaknesses. Former Chief of the U.S. Border Patrol Rodney Scott warned us of what is now happening at our border.

“I firmly believe that it is a national security crisis,” he said. “Immigration is just … a cover for massive amounts of smuggling going across the southwest border — to include TSDBs [terrorists and suspected terrorists matched to a database] at a level we have never seen before. That's a real threat.”

He retired seven months into Biden’s term and left office with that warning. Of the people who are pouring across our border, we know just a fraction of who is coming … and it is scary. Known terrorists are entering our nation. Even when our border patrol catches them, they release them, and we have no idea of their whereabouts.

But now it is about to get much worse. Title 42 is lifting in just 48 hours, and millions more people who were turned away at the border will now be able to enter our nation with no vetting.

Border cities and towns are bracing for the impact that this will cause as the clock runs out. We need to have strong borders and increased security to be able to catch these terrorists and smugglers. Send a clear message to Congress to stop this mess.

The numbers are staggering. A nonprofit set up a shelter in Tijuana, Mexico, only two blocks from our border wall. This shelter is only for Muslims that have “unknown and unchecked backgrounds who all plan to cross into America one way or another.”

The Biden administration refuses to investigate this shelter. We might as well build a highway across our southern border and let anyone enter without any documents. This is insane and very dangerous.

After Thursday, the crisis will escalate if we do nothing.
