There is a massive crisis at our border. Even the White House is admitting it. Democrats are changing their minds about needing to address this. We have a narrow window to get bipartisan legislation through Congress, and there is a critical bill vote on HR 2 today.

The streets along our southern border are filled with a mass of people trying to get into our country. The White House, under pressure, sent 4,000 additional personnel, but this is a small fraction of what is needed to keep our nation secure.

A huge surge of more people is about to hit the border, and many caravans are still en route. “It’s going to be chaotic for a while,” Biden said, while refusing to propose any lasting solution. Meanwhile he is merely offering a token of what is needed to clean up the mess he has made.

Today, the U.S. House is having a floor debate followed by an important vote on a good bill addressing the massive border crisis. The border crisis is a crisis that affects everyone.

With the drugs, terrorists, gang members, and criminals pouring across our borders — and the increase that will happen starting today — we cannot afford to do nothing.

Urge members of Congress and state leaders to take a stand on this heartbreaking issue.

MS-13 gang members and other violent gang members are exploiting the migrant caravans to infiltrate America. These gang members “are slipping across the southern border, hidden in the waves of thousands of Mexican and Central American migrants who continue to surge into the US,” wrote the New York Post.

Chief Patrol Agent Matthew Hudak of the U.S. Border Patrol tweeted, “They attempt to evade arrest by exploiting the influx of migrants attempting to enter our country.”

This month, the U.S. Department of Justice announced the conviction of several MS-13 gang members who committed multiple murders.

None of these people illegally crossing the border are vetted. They are set free to roam throughout the country.

Now, Biden is opening the spigot to flood America with more illegals. This crisis must not continue.

Today Congress could vote to end this crisis at our border. Send urgent faxes to key legislators and to our governors to act quickly.

HR 2 in the U.S. Congress will do the following:

• Strengthen physical barriers at the border.

• Give border control the technology needed to secure America.

• Hire staff and create a successful working model.

• Offer grants to border communities to enhance national security.

• Set a minimum number of flight hours over the border.

• Cut away the plants giving cover to smugglers and “coyotes.”

• Collect the DNA and fingerprints of illegal immigrants at the border.

• Run background checks on illegals.

• Report on foreign terrorist organizations’ efforts to infiltrate.

• Outline proper care for abandoned children.

• And much, much more.

Urge Congress to pass this bill and key state lawmakers to do everything in their power to stop the crisis at our border.

There are many people desperate to leave their country to enter America. Coyotes and gang members promise these people that they could soon walk on streets of gold. But along the way, the women and children are raped. Men are hanged. People are left for dead.

Children are orphaned. We have no way of uniting these children with their parents. We don’t even know if they are alive.

The border crisis has created an unbelievable human tragedy. Our failed policies are the cause of this crisis.
