While we celebrate Thanksgiving, Marxists are working overtime TODAY to ruin this holiday where we give thanks to God for the blessings of life and liberty. One such person is John Kerry, the Biden-appointed U.S. Special Presidential Envoy for Climate Change who is working with his daughter at the World Health Organization (WHO).

Today the WHO is hosting a meeting to discuss "Climate change and Health." The WHO’s broad use of words "public health" include everything from medical to abortion to LGBTQ, and, yes, even "climate change."

Not even animals can escape their reach. The number of cows, among other creatures, must be reduced to save the planet.

The WHO wants everyone to use those awful paper straws. And the stove you use is also on their list to regulate. Electric vehicles will be required, even though they have not figured out where to dump the spent batteries!

Joe Biden is on the home stretch to sign America on to the WHO's more than 300 amendments to the International Health Regulations (IHR). Doing so will change the WHO directives from advisory to legally binding.

John Kerry has been looking for an avenue to sell his climate change hysteria ever since his promise that the Artic would be "ice free" by 2013. Florida did not fall into the ocean, as Kerry's fellow colleagues in the Clinton and Obama administrations once feared.

But now, Joe Biden has knighted Kerry the "U.S. Presidential Special Envoy on Climate Change" and marched him off to the WHO's annual World Health Assembly. One of his first accomplishments was to get his daughter, Dr. Vanessa Kerry, into the WHO’s leadership. Their mission was to wedge "climate change" controls into a new Pandemic Treaty that Biden intends to sign without the constitutionally required 2/3 consent of the U.S. Senate.

The WHO’s agenda on "climate change" includes:

• Deliver on the Paris Agreement and accelerate the phase-out of fossil fuels (which will financially cripple our nation).

• Build climate-resilient, low-carbon health systems.

• Deliver 100 billion dollars a year in climate finance giveaways to foreign nations.

These plans will bankrupt our nation. We already have shocking debt in excess of 33 TRILLION dollars!

While introducing her father, Dr. Vanessa Kerry opened by claiming there is a "coming flood of disease from climate change."

As John Kerry addressed the WHO crowd, he admitted he had no background in health management. Yet he made the outrageous claim that "the climate crisis is killing people."

"We're losing many more lives this year than we did in the Holocaust of WW2," he said, "maybe 3-4 times as many."

As you may know, 6 million Jews and at least 5 million other prisoners were murdered during the Holocaust, which means John Kerry is suggesting that "climate change" killed 44 million people last year alone!

But that wasn't the only baloney Kerry was selling at the WHO meeting.

He claims we may have reached a "tipping point" in the Arctic and Antarctic, offering no details or proof of his claims. While folks like Kerry and Al Gore continue to claim that the world will soon be flooded, those claims are being debunked even faster than the infamous "hockey stick" graph Gore promoted 20 years ago.

Writing for American Thinker, Jack Hellner notes that "it is hard to find any data to support what we have been told about temperatures and the climate, yet we repeatedly see the talking point that the 'science is settled.'"

A look at actual, peer-reviewed science shows that arctic ice sometimes melts and sometimes expands. In fact, according to a report by the National Snow and Ice Data Center, the Arctic ice pack is 216,000 square miles (about the area of Texas) larger than it was in 2019. We cannot have people ignoring reality and in complete control of every aspect of our lives.

Dr. Vanessa Kerry holds the title of "World Economic Forum (WEF) Young Global Leader." She is also the CEO of Seed Global Health, a recipient of millions from the Clinton Foundation. But in June, Dr. Kerry added a new job. She is now the first-ever World Health Organization Director-General Special Envoy for "Climate Change and Health." This brings together both the WEF and the WHO under one person focused on climate change.

Dr. Kerry is so radical that she alleged the smoke from Canadian forest fires was disproportionately affecting black and brown populations, despite the fact that the air we breathe is the same!

"I never thought healthcare had anything to do with climate change until my daughter taught me to realize that the centerpiece of healthcare is climate change," said John Kerry, "and that climate change is causing the health problems in the world."

We have a window to stop both the 307 amendments and the Pandemic Treaty. HR 79 can stop the WHO. The House must block federal funding from the next budget. The House must hold hearings. And the Senate must insist on a vote.
