This week Liberty Counsel Action staff had multiple meetings with high-level individuals on Capitol Hill regarding the fast-breaking developments of the World Health Organization (WHO).

We are doing everything in our power to stop the Pandemic Agreement/Treaty and the amendments to the International Health Regulations (IHR), but we need your help to tell members of Congress that the time to act is NOW. Time is running out.

More breaking news just came in from another country, which I will share below. The Associated Press also recently came out with an article pushing the Pandemic Agreement/Treaty. AP claims the treaty is simply “to avoid mistakes made during COVID.” Well, who wouldn’t want that? Then the AP intersperses its article with propaganda/fearmongering photos of dead and burning bodies and claims the real problem with the treaty is ... it’s too weak!

AP claims “experts warn there are virtually no consequences for countries that don’t comply.” That is patently false. There are enormous consequences.

The WHO is in panic mode since it failed to finalize the Agreement on May 10. We are gaining momentum, but the next two weeks will be critical.

More nations are pushing back against the WHO. Yesterday, Israeli Members of Parliament with the Minister of Health released a public letter calling “with the utmost urgency, to prevent a fatal blow to Israel's sovereignty.” The public letter goes on to state that the amendments to the IHR do the following:

(1) give power to the UN/WHO “to fully control the domestic as well as foreign policy of each state member.”

(2) give the director-general “the authority to set and declare the situation de facto, with no obligation to disclose the sources of his information and with no ability to challenge his decision.”

(3) “Even more dangerous to our sovereignty is the status of the recommendations ... [which] are binding!”

Some of the most controversial aspects of the treaty demand that “[e]ach Party undertakes to avoid having national stockpiles of pandemic-related health products that unnecessarily exceed the quantities anticipated to be needed” (emphasis added).

And another news service, Reuters, admits that the draft agreement demands pharmaceutical manufacturers “reserve 10% of such items to donate to the WHO, and 10% for the agency to buy at affordable prices to distribute in poorer countries during health emergencies.” The AP is not precise here. The WHO uses “equity,” not “poorer,” which is a big difference. If a country is “poor” but not pro-abortion, the WHO can leave out the country.

This treaty is meant to not just take our sovereignty but also to drive our manufacturing to its knees. This is why the U.K. is also now pushing back.

In 1948, when the WHO was formed, it spent the first two decades focused on tuberculosis, malaria, yaws, syphilis, smallpox, and leprosy. It adopted an International Classification of Disease (ICD) that has been used consistently worldwide since then.

Then, in 1969, the WHO adopted the International Health Regulations (IHR), which were minimal. In 2005, George W. Bush unilaterally signed America onto the revised IHR, arguing that Senate approval was not necessary because the U.S. supported the formation of the WHO in 1948.

Following the example of George W. Bush (and Barack Obama on the Paris Agreement), Joe Biden wants to create a staggering expansion of the WHO authority over America with a stroke of a pen during the World Health Assembly in May. The changes are so sweeping they will make the original text unrecognizable.

Unless we stop Biden NOW, we will all be stuck under the United Nations’ WHO rule over nearly every aspect of our lives.

What these changes at the WHO will do are breathtaking! They will give the WHO FULL control over our borders, health care, travel, and more.

“The sovereignty of the United States is not negotiable,” House Speaker Mike Johnson says (emphasis added). He’s right! Not now. Not ever! Help us fight to protect America’s laws by faxing Congress now. Wake them from their slumber to DO THEIR JOB protecting the U.S. Constitution and American sovereignty.
