Advancing Life and Liberty Through Action

When haters were ramping up fake news and vitriolic attacks toward President Donald Trump, some Democrats in Congress were trying to strip Trump of all of his protection detail! This is no accident. Remember when actress Kathy Griffin tweeted a picture of a bloody decapitated head of President Trump? That is what they want.
On Saturday, we saw an assassination attempt that grew out of this dangerous rhetoric. Silencing Donald Trump ... forever. Miraculously, Trump is alive. God preserved his life.
A bill in the U.S. House sought to dismiss any security detail from President Trump. Introduced by Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-MS), this active bill is named the “DISGRACED Former Protectees Act,” and set out to permanently erase the funding for any security protection for Trump.
A congressional staffer who worked for this legislation’s sponsor wanted to see President Trump die. Jacqueline Marsaw, a field office manager for Rep. Thompson, publicly joked — AFTER Trump was shot — “please get you some shooting lessons so you don't miss next time.” Marsaw has since been terminated, but her boss’ bill, HR 8081, is still active.
We cannot allow Congress to thrgow open the doors to allow the physical attack of a presidential candidate. We must urge Congress to find out why a shooter was allowed access with a gun onto a building with a clear line of sight to a presidential candidate. This NEVER should have happened!
At this point, we know more about the gun that was used than the would-be assassin who pulled the trigger. Demand that Congress thoroughly investigate this situation and leave no stone unturned to investigate the Secret Service and the Department of Homeland Security and their failings leading up to this attempted assassination. — Mat

There are massive problems — gross security breaches, inner failings of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and a mistaken focus on diversity in our Secret Service that goes all the way to the top.
We witnessed departments that are supposed to be protecting President Trump instead allow a man to have everything he needed to kill a presidential candidate.
In a letter to DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, Rep. Mark Green said, “According to the USSS [Secret Service], the shooter ‘fired multiple shots toward the stage from an elevated position outside of the rally venue.’ This raises serious concerns regarding how a shooter was able to access a rooftop within range and direct line of sight of where President Trump was speaking.” There are even eyewitness allegations that people in the audience were trying to point out the shooter to security for several minutes prior to the shooting.
We need to rid the federal government of its inept leaders, the failed and nearly fatal “Diversity, Equity and Inclusion” (DEI) policies, and end the blame shifting.
To be clear: There is nothing wrong with female Secret Service agents — if they can do their job. Yet video footage, photographs, and reports in the media suggest three of the agents surrounding President Trump were massively incompetent — with one appearing to hide behind the president, and one unable, after repeated efforts, to even holster her gun.
All were simply too short to properly shield him — which is not the fault of these women but of the ineptitude of the Secret Service director, who last year touted DEI as a “major priority,” committing to have 30% of the Secret Service made up of women by 2030.
Even Meghan McCain said, “This is why the notion that men and women are the same is just absurd. You need to be taller than the candidate to protect them with your body. Why do they have these short women (one who can’t holster a gun apparently) guarding Trump?”
Apparently now the Secret Service is working on meeting that 30% DEI goal! LGBTQ, gender, and ethnicity are more important to the Secret Service than raw talent and ability. This is WRONG!
We need qualified individuals — regardless of gender or race or any other “diversity” metric — protecting our president.
In fact, in 2020, multiple messages advocating President Trump’s murder went out on Iranian government news outlets throughout the Muslim community when Trump was concluding his time in the White House.
Yet since then, nine legislators were working to completely strip Trump of ALL security detail. If their bill passed, these radical Democrats would have stripped all protections from Trump, the Secret Service would not even have to show up at a Trump rally. The legislators supporting this bill include Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-MS), Rep. Troy Carter (D-LA), Rep. Barbara Lee (D-CA), Rep. Frederica Wilson (D-FL), Rep. Yvette Clarke (D-NY), Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-NJ), Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX), Rep. Joyce Beatty (D-OH), and Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN).
The bill has not been passed, but reports suggest that the Department of Homeland Security “‘rebuffed’ multiple requests from President Trump’s security detail to increase protective resources in the weeks preceding this event,” Rep. Mark Green summarized.
Additionally, Rep. Jeff Duncan stated, “we will witness federal agencies, including the United States Secret Service, go into CYA mode and try to pin blame elsewhere. We cannot rely just on Congressional Oversight hearings or even Agency Inspector Generals to get the answers that Congress and the American people deserve about the failures to protect President Trump adequately.”
Congress needs to go much deeper than a one-hour staged interview with the head of an organization. We need to get to the truth. We need to ensure real protection is in place to keep our presidential candidates alive. Send your fax right away.
I am still in awe that President Trump’s life was preserved by such a thin margin. Please join me in praying for him and working to ensure he is better protected in the future. Our organization is working on Capitol Hill to bring urgency and awareness of how grave this situation was and how important it is to make sure that protections are instated so nothing like this happens again.
