What transpired during the attempted assassination of President Donald Trump reveals a shocking level of incompetence at the highest level our national security. We must fix this mess. Otherwise, these gaping failures, broadcast to the world, will result in the deaths of more people.

The building that the shooter scaled was actually a staging area for law enforcement. People in the crowd were pointing out the shooter and calling for law enforcement to act several minutes before he fired off rounds at President Trump. There were multiple security officers in the building. Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle says she did not place security on the roof because it has a slope. But the roof slope is minimal and presents NO risk to security personnel. In addition, there are reports of three homemade explosive devices in the shooter’s car and a detonator on his body.

These systematic failures are not new.

In fact, a bipartisan commission in 2015 found “serious leadership and staffing concerns, along with new details surrounding employee misconduct and security breach incidents.”

And it’s only gotten worse since 2015. Joe Biden is more concerned about Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) than competence. And gross incompetence was on full display on July 13. By a miracle of God, Donald Trump is alive. As he said, he shouldn’t be here — but for the grace of God.

Demand that Congress fully reform the Secret Service, end the DEI push, and fire the Secret Service director, Kimberly Cheatle who oversaw these unbelievable security failings, now. — Mat

“Morale is down, attrition is up, misconduct continues and security breaches persist. Yet its mission inexplicably continues to expand beyond the zero-fail mission to protect the President ... the agency is still broken,” said then-House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz (R-UT).

This gross incompetence almost resulted in the assassination of President Trump. This is very serious and must change NOW!

What transpired at the Trump rally was so shocking it warrants a bipartisan investigation. The Secret Service has only one job. It needs to protect our leaders and, when necessary, use preemptive deadly force. They need to be highly trained, evaluated under pressure, work as a team, and be the best of the best. There is no room to add DEI to the criteria for service.

Instead, we witnessed:

1. A panicked woman crouching on stage BEHIND President Trump.

2. A female hollering over a hot mic, “What do we do? What do we do? What do we do?”

3. A female unable to holster her gun.

4. Three females totally confused on their duty to escort the vehicle transporting the protectee.

That the Secret Service failed is painfully evident. As Director Cheatle admitted, the buck stops with her. She must resign. The agency needs to be held accountable and totally reformed. The leadership needs to abandon DEI.

An innocent bystander was killed, others were seriously injured, and the former president and presidential candidate was shot. It is a miracle President Trump was not killed. There needs to be a thorough investigation. DEI must end now.

This time Congress must act swiftly. Tell them to fully reform the Secret Service, end the DEI that led to these failings, and fire the Secret Service director, Kimberly Cheatle. An innocent bystander is dead because of this disaster. Urge Congress to act now to stop this!

The problems with the Secret Service are systemic. In 2014, a man jumped the White House fence and made it inside the White House. That sparked a bipartisan investigation with “four hearings, 17 joint letters, three subpoenas, and eight depositions/transcribed interviews.”

Congress must hear from you calling for a thorough investigation, which should delve deeply into Joe Biden’s DEI policies. Director Cheatle should be fired. Under her “leadership,” the Secret Service was allegedly unable to discover who brought cocaine into the White House.
