She thought she was 29 weeks pregnant. But that was no problem for “House of Horrors” abortionist Kermit Gosnell. He just charged 1,000 dollars extra to the woman the grand jury named “Sue.”

Sue was mostly left alone for nearly 14 hours of excruciating pain, labor, and delivery. She gave birth to a baby boy. And he was alive! Staff member Kareema Cross later testified that this baby “was nearly the size of her own six-pound, six-ounce newborn daughter.”

The baby was “breathing,” Cross said, “though not for long.”

While the mother was asleep, Gosnell “slit the neck” of the little boy and then put him inside a shoebox. Later, Cross described the baby as “so big that his feet and arms hung out over the sides” of the shoe box. She said she “saw the baby move after his neck was cut, and after the doctor placed it in the shoebox.”

One expert witness testified this baby boy was likely closer to 32 weeks and in intense pain as he lay alive, but slowly bleeding out and dying in that shoebox.

This is what abortion supporters want, to spread that “House of Horrors,” the murder of newborn babies, the filth, and the spread of disease to every corner of our nation. Through abortion ballot initiatives, these radicals are demanding ZERO restrictions on medical standards, care, sanitation, and informed consent. And they want taxpayer-funded abortions. This is unbelievably cruel.

What happened that fateful day to Sue and her baby boy was business as usual at Gosnell’s center. In fact, Gosnell was so calloused to human life, he cracked a joke that Sue's baby was so big he could “walk me to the bus stop.”

Gosnell often forced ill-informed women into a procedure that included full labor and delivery of premature infants. These women would check in during the day, make payment, and take labor-inducing drugs. Gosnell would arrive late in the night hours to handle these cases.

By maximizing the pain and danger for the women, he minimized the cost, and work for himself and his staff. But when you perform late-term “abortions” only by inducing labor, you get live, breathing, squirming babies. “Gosnell had a simple solution for the unwanted babies he delivered: he killed them.”

“These killings became so routine that no one could put an exact number on them. They were considered ‘standard procedure.’”

These brutal acts on children are hard to stomach. But they are not limited to Gosnell. They happen every day. As difficult as this subject is, we cannot close our eyes and ears. And in this fall election, an onslaught of ballot initiatives will open the doors to build a “House of Horrors” in states across the nation — unless we stop them now.

Our team is gearing up for a campaign of six pastors’ events in just five days later this month. Please pray that God will stir the hearts of pastors and community leaders to defend innocent children like this little baby boy and be an active, effective voice for truth.
