At age 13, Kayla* had enough of the abuse at home and ran away. With no place to go, she just drifted and wandered.

I went to the center of town and stood by the town hall. A man saw me hanging around there and he said that he was looking for a “protege.” I didn’t know what it was but it sounded fine to me. He said that I could stay at his house if I didn’t have a place to stay.... When we got to his house he pulled out a bottle of gin and had me drink and drink. The next thing I remember is waking up drunk in his bed all wet and hurt. He took me out on the street and told me what to do ... During that time I saw 10 to 20 men a day. I did what he said because he got violent when I sassed him... I took all kinds of drugs—even though I didn’t really like most of them... I had forced unprotected s** and got pregnant three times and had two abortions....

Missouri and Arizona have joined the states placing abortion on the ballot. This fight just intensified. These abortion amendments will become a haven for pimps to traffic women. Kayla is not alone. One “survivor, whose abuse at the hands of her traffickers was particularly brutal, reported seventeen abortions and indicated that at least some of them were forced on her,” according to one report. “Notably, the phenomenon of forced abortion as it occurs in sex trafficking transcends the political boundaries of the abortion debate, violating both the pro-life belief that abortion takes innocent life and the pro-choice ideal of women’s freedom to make their own reproductive choices.” (emphasis added)

In a study of 66 trafficking survivors, all but two responded that they had 114 cumulative abortions among them. Forty-seven reported one or more pregnancies while being trafficked, while 21.2% (14) reported five or more pregnancies. Of respondents, 54.7% (35) had at least one miscarriage and 29.7% (19) had more than one. More than half (55.2%) had at least one abortion, with 29.9% (20) respondents who had multiple abortions. And all of this is without accounting for underreporting!

Most trafficking victims had “significant contact with clinical treatment facilities, most commonly Planned Parenthood.” In fact, Planned Parenthood was the most visited facility for trafficking victims, second only to hospital emergency rooms. When asked why Planned Parenthood, one survivor responded, “because they didn’t ask any questions.”

Let that sink in. The victims are testifying that Planned Parenthood was consistently known for sheltering human traffickers by not reporting abuse and helping abusers as their customer base! Now Missouri and Arizona have joined the states putting measures on their state ballots that protect the organization that shelters these abusers.

A growing number of states have ballot initiatives that will make Planned Parenthood invincible. For example, Amendment 4 in Florida says, “No law shall restrict” abortion. This is beyond extreme. Abortion up to and during birth will be permitted. Planned Parenthood will abuse more girls so their pimps can conceal their crime and continue to make money off the girls’ misery.

In South Dakota, Amendment G will allow abortion up to birth if “necessary” for the woman’s “health,” which includes any reason.

There is never just one victim of abortion. The mother, the father, siblings, a surviving twin, grandparents, and all of society are harmed. But no one suffers more than the child who is being brutally murdered.
