This week, Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) in the U.S. House began the process of moving forward a continuing resolution (CR) that funds government to avoid a shutdown on September 30. It is critically important that this CR contains a provision that each state must require people to show proof of citizenship to register to vote in a federal election.

... and many Democrats lost their minds.

“Democrats would rather shut down the government than stop illegals from voting,” said House Speaker Johnson.

Already, the Democrats are losing votes with Rep. Jared Golden (D-ME) saying he will vote for the CR with the citizenship provision, thus breaking rank with Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY).

Democrat members of the House were heard chanting “SHUT IT DOWN.”

If illegals are not voting, why are Democrats willing to shut down the government over something they claim is a non-issue? Why are they fighting SO HARD against stopping something they claim isn’t happening?

This is a critical battle to stop election fraud. The state of Pennsylvania found 11,000 illegal immigrants registered to vote! Who knows how many others have not yet been discovered? Pennsylvania is not even a border state.

This language has bipartisan support. When it first passed the House, five Democrats voted for it. Now Minority Leader Jefferies is fighting against it.

Senator Rick Scott (R-FL) said that “every month, hundreds of thousands of people are breaking into our country illegally. No serious person disputes this.”

In fact, recent estimates from Speaker Johnson are that the likely number of illegal immigrants who have crossed the border under Biden-Harris is closer to 16 million. How can anyone not vote in favor of requiring proof of citizenship? This must be made an election issue. How can anyone defend illegals voting?

People who are here on a student visa are reportedly registering to vote. No student on a study visa should be registered to vote! Just last school year, there were more than 1 million people here on student visas.

An even bigger problem is the “Motor Voter” issue where some states recruit people to register to vote — many with no proof of citizenship. The “Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act” (SAVE Act) as a part of the CR is a critical step that will require voter ID. The bill in the CR “extends to all government social service facilities, including welfare offices, medical service facilities, and even drug-addiction treatment centers” that are mandated to offer voter registration. Many of these people are non-citizens.

With the huge influx of illegals, we need to do everything in our power to stop non-citizens from voting. Speaker Johnson said, “There should be no objection to this legislation at all.” Fax Congress today and urge them to fight to put security and integrity back into our election process!

The co-founder of the election integrity caucus in Congress gave a stern warning. “The election security of our nation is at risk,” said Rep. Claudia Tenney (R-NY).

Election fraud is necessary for Marxism to dismantle America.

Rep. Randy Weber (R-TX) also said illegal immigrants are “ground zero” under Biden’s border policies to attack our nation.

We CANNOT remain silent about this treasonous attempt to steal America’s elections. We must renew our resolve and make clear we will not tolerate any attempt to destroy free and fair elections!
