During Hurricane Helene and other storms, more than 40 trillion gallons of water poured from the sky and caused incredible damage, especially in North Carolina. Ironically, the harm now is being caused by too little water. Every drop of water has to be imported. This includes water for drinking, bathing, washing, and even flushing.
“There’s no running water in all of Asheville,” said Ryan Austin, a local resident and disaster relief worker. “Plenty of people are bringing in bottled water for drinking, but there’s no way to use water for [other needs].”
Many things, even medical treatments, are being hampered by lack of water. Medical professionals “couldn’t do procedures because there was no way to clean their utensils,” said one primary care physician in Asheville. The problem of human waste is especially dire for those hospitalized. Mission Hospital has 1,200 beds in Asheville ... and no working toilets.
Worse, there is no end in sight. The entire water treatment system has been washed away. Dr. Carly Brown continued, “We have no water, and the infrastructure for that water is totally destroyed.” One group is feeding 25,000 meals EVERY DAY, mostly from private funding.
The death toll appears to be vastly underreported. “They have a lot of mobile morgues in town, and they’re filled with bodies, and they haven’t been able to report those numbers yet. Those numbers are not part of the death toll, and that will go up by thousands,” Dr. Brown warned.
Meanwhile, many are complaining that FEMA is nowhere to be found. After spending hundreds of millions of dollars on illegal immigrants, now Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas warned ahead of “Milton,” making landfall: “We are expecting another hurricane hitting. We do not have the funds. FEMA does not have the funds to make it through the season.” FEMA can’t even provide water!
Flood Congress with your faxes to stop paying for illegals and start helping our own people recover from the hurricane!

Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) has introduced a bill “To terminate the Shelter and Services Program of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, and for other purposes.” This bill will reallocate tax dollars to serve American citizens in dire need.
FEMA says that those harmed by Hurricane Helene will be given a total of 20 million dollars for recovery efforts. Much of this money was spent to recover the dead — not to help the living. This storm’s devastation covers 400 miles across multiple states, and at least 4 million people lost power. With many homes completely gone, this level of damage is exponentially more expensive!
To put this 20 million into perspective, last year FEMA spent 780 million on housing for illegal immigrants! Americans are getting roughly 2.5% of what FEMA just spent on housing illegals.
The situation in North Carolina is dire.
Many families are homeless. Temperatures are expected to drop into the 40s and even the 30s overnight next week. These people are covered in mud, and they have no way to get clean clothes. They are getting increasingly desperate.
Not to worry, FEMA sent in a quarter of a million tarps. Yet, FEMA is providing illegals with free housing and utilities in nice apartments for two years.
Americans need help NOW! Ask Congress to act immediately to stop funding illegals and start helping Americans!
There are many reports that federal officials have turned away skilled and experienced volunteers who have showed up with their privately owned equipment to help their fellow Americans.
We have Americans desperate for help and those willing to provide what is needed. Yet not only is FEMA not doing its job — helping in a crisis ... it is also standing in the way of others who want to help!
Some, like Wendy Feinberg, a 77-year-old retired schoolteacher, still have a roof over their head. But the fear of crime with no electricity causes her to sleep with a loaded gun by her pillow, ready to defend what little she has left from looters. This is no way to treat people like Wendy who have served our society their entire lives!
This is unspeakably frustrating.
We must push Congress to right this wrong right now.
