Three Democrat appointees to the FCC are throwing out a critically important rule designed to limit foreign influence in America media. In a 3-2 vote, the FCC is rushing to approve Democrat mega-donor George Soros’ plan to purchase majority stock in 220+ radio stations. A good number of these stations include conservative news/talk radio in some of the largest markets.

When the news becomes the arm of one political party, freedom suffers.

Some of these radio stations are already advertising for new on-air personalities.

Urge Congress to: (1) block Soros, as a foreign influence, from purchasing these radio stations, and (2) investigate the FCC’s bypassing the critically important foreign influence rule.

The Founders considered the media as the “Fouth Pillar” of our free Constitutional Republic.

When George Soros was a teenager, he betrayed his own people while he watched one of the most evil leaders in modern history. Joseph Goebbels was the head of the Third Reich’s ministry of propaganda. He made brainwashing a science.

“We want a radio that reaches the people, a radio that works for the people, a radio that is an intermediary between the government and the nation, a radio that also reaches across our borders to give the world a picture of our character,” these Nazis proclaimed.

First, they seized control of the Reich Broadcasting Corporation. Then they created strict content “standards” for every station. Next, they took over the manufacturing of radios and subsidized the price to make radios affordable. By 1941, two-thirds of the homes had radios, called Volksempfänger, and the Nazis succeeded in creating a constant stream of propaganda into private homes.

“Goebbels knew better than to simply broadcast the Third Reich's agenda nonstop. People welcomed the inexpensive receivers into their homes precisely because they also provided entertainment and distraction. Regular programming included operas, classical concerts, light dance music, games, jokes, and popular arts,” writes Allison Marsh in an analysis of Nazi propaganda efforts.

However, it was “punishable by fines, imprisonment, and even death” for anyone to tune the radio to a foreign station.

This is the world of George Soros. Now he wants majority stock in the second-largest radio group in America to do what he learned as a child.

Soros must be stopped. Urge Congress to block this sale, investigate the FCC, and prevent this from happening in the future.

Goebbels didn’t try to hide that the “radio belongs to us.” These stations gave consistent time to Adolf Hitler, each one starting off with the infamous “Heil Hitler” greeting.

These radios helped the people accept the war. In 1939, a fake report went out that Poland had attacked Germany. Hitler got on the air and declared that fighting was underway. But in reality, Germany started the war under false pretenses by invading Poland.

If the war news was good, it would be shouted from the radio speakers — even embellished on most occasions. If the news was bad, programming would offer entertainment and handpicked distractions from the war.

Even Hitler’s suicide was reported as a heroic death fighting against a “Soviet invasion.” That demonstrates just how far these propaganda reporters were willing to go.

But for Soros, this isn’t something he read in a history book. This propaganda was something he lived on a daily basis, even during his teen years.

American radio and TV stations should be free of foreign influence, especially from someone like Soros who hates America. Demand that Congress act to stop this sale of our news sources to a foreign and hostile entity.
