Dr. Anthony Pohlgeers is a pediatrician and pediatric emergency medicine specialist. In a press briefing with Gov. Ron DeSantis opposing Amendment 4, the abortion amendment on Florida’s ballot, he pointed out the following commonsense requirements:

“The best possible and safest results from any childhood treatment regimen medical surgical procedure is when the parent is fully informed by the physician and when that parent is actively involved and is fully aware of any and all complications from that procedure treatment regimen, especially complications. After all it’s the parents who are the ones who will be caring for their child in their home at the conclusion of these procedures.”

“To do anything else, we call it bad medicine,” he concluded. Yet this “bad medicine” is exactly what these abortionists are working to make common when it comes to killing children.

In just one week, our nation will cast the last ballot. We have found that the more the voter knows about these deadly amendments and how extreme they are, even allowing abortion up to birth, the more they reject them. That’s why it is critical to inform the voters before it’s too late.

Remember Planned Parenthood’s former motto: “Every child a wanted child.” However, with the high levels of disabled children who are aborted, this is the highest form of discrimination against those with disabilities.

In fact, it’s outright murder! That is exactly what Elon Musk called it when he was asked for his opinion regarding aborting viable children.

We should weep — never cheer — those who had an abortion. Abortion should never be “shouted.” Life is beautiful and is to be celebrated, never destroyed.

Many of these ballot initiatives are extreme. The chilling words of Amendment 4 in Florida are: “No law shall ... restrict.” This will allow abortion up to birth for any reason, strike down health and safety standards and parental consent. It will even open the door for taxpayer-funded abortions.
