Jessica Bates, a widowed mother of five, was denied the opportunity to adopt a child because of her Christian beliefs that conflict with Oregon’s LGBTQ gender ideology. Jessica’s application was rejected by the state, making her ineligible to adopt any child — even those who share her religious beliefs.

A lawsuit in Colorado seeks to ban grants to Christian preschools whose beliefs do not embrace LGBTQ or force these schools to change their beliefs.

What is happening in Colorado is a part of the LGBTQ agenda that is embodied in HR 15, the misnamed “Equality Act.”

If this bill is passed, it will force the LGBTQ agenda on everyone, including children in daycare, preschool, women in abuse shelters or in prisons, and much more.

The mood in Washington, D.C., among congressional Democrats is one of anger and blame. They want to push an extreme agenda in the remaining time they have before they lose power. To accomplish their wish list, they are willing to abolish the 60-vote filibuster rule. They are VERY CLOSE to achieving their wish list — and they will if we remain SILENT!

I urge you to weigh in to the battle to stop this from happening. Our children are under enough attacks. They need to be protected from this agenda. Tell Congress to oppose HR 15 and keep the filibuster.

Preschoolers are not the only ones under attack. Other vulnerable children are also being targeted by this political agenda. Those in the foster system are repeatedly being denied a loving home because of the radical LGBTQ agenda.

Some of these kids have nowhere to go — so rather than be placed in a loving home with Christian parents, they languish in foster care.

Shane and Jennifer DeGross were serving as foster parents for nine years when their application in Washington state was denied due to their Christian faith. It was not a complaint about their care, but rather it was their religious beliefs that prevented them from continuing to provide for these children.

Make no mistake, this agenda does not care about children. They are political pawns to be indoctrinated.

If passed, the “Equality Act” will bring persecution to churches and schools like we have never seen before in America. Children will suffer.

WE MUST STOP HR 15! Send your faxes to Congress to stop the "Equality Act" from endangering people in our communities.

HR 15 will do all the following, and much more:

• Biological men will have access to women’s restrooms, locker rooms, dressing rooms, showers, and nursing-mother rooms at any time.

• Cross-dressers could demand to be greeters, ushers, Sunday school teachers, among other roles in the church and religious organizations.

• Religious organizations could be forced to host same-sex ceremonies and even baby showers or lose tax-exempt status for noncompliance.

• Churches and religious schools would be forced to hire staff involved in LGBTQ conduct, even for visible positions of authority, and give them access to all children, even in the restrooms.

• Churches and religious colleges will lose tax-exemption and accreditation if they do not bow to this radical agenda.

• If taking overnight trips with children, including sports or mission trips for schools or churches, you will not be able to separate people sleeping in the same room by biological gender.

• Boys and men will be able to displace women in sports.

• From pre-kindergarten, children will be taught that they can choose their gender and will be encouraged to experiment with each other.

• And too many other things to mention here.

I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to stop the “Equality Act.”

To get a glimpse of the impact of the “Equality Act,” consider this law in a proposed federal rule under the Biden-Harris administration. The agency rule would require that children who “identify” as “LGBTQI+” be placed in homes where providers are trained on “specific needs related to their sexual orientation and gender identity.” Foster parents who are unwilling to lie by telling children they are “born in the wrong body” will not be eligible to be foster parents.

HR 15 is even more extreme. It would exclude foster and adoptive parents who believe that God created male and female.

We must protect these children and preserve religious freedom.

Democrats are livid about the results of the election and are devising how to pass their agenda in the remaining months of power. And they are willing to do just about anything — which includes abolishing the filibuster. This will allow them to pass their wish list — not just LGBTQ, but abortion and much more.
