Mayors Are Now Demanding Answers

Dec 24, 2024

There continues to be many concerns but few answers over drones or UAS (unmanned aerial systems) that have now been spotted in eight states.

Mayor Sam Joshi of Edison, NJ, said several hundred mayors are concerned about the drones. They “are all waving a flag saying, this is a big deal... This is certainly not normal. It’s an abnormal amount of drones and the sizes of them are just huge.”

Some NJ lawmakers are calling for a partial “state of emergency” to address the drone activity. “Now we have people freaking out because the drone the size of an SUV is flying over their house and everybody is going ‘Eh, we’re not sure. We don’t know,’” said New Jersey State Sen. Jon Bramnick (R).

There have been at least 6,000 reports of unusual activity (though some of that is likely crossover of people seeing the same event).

Michael Melham, the mayor of Belleville, NJ, said, “These things are not 1,000 feet in the air, these things are tree height. They’re really close to our homes and people are legitimately concerned.”

"Why can't we bag at least one of these drones and get to the bottom of it?” said Rep. Chris Smith (R-NJ). This is not a big ask — frankly, it’s pretty reasonable.

Sinister guesses are swirling. And trust is at an all-time low in the federal government, including the DOD, DHS, and the FBI. And the contradicting “information” coming out of these departments is making matters worse.

Urge Congress to act to protect our national security! Send your faxes to direct Congress to act now to close this loophole against potential terrorists in the future.

One on-site reporter said: “The thing that’s odd about this is that you have leaders ... saying they don’t believe they’re a threat to the public, yet the public is being told to call the FBI if you know anything about them or if you’ve seen them.”

This doesn’t make any sense. We don’t call the FBI about things that are not threats. This is unsettling, at best!

Drones available for the general public must have Remote ID, which allows the FAA and other authorized sources to track them. If these were private drones, the answer to this phenomenon would be simple. The fact that the government has not tracked these UAS is concerning.

We are not getting straight answers.

We are back to — if there is nothing to fear, why should people call the FBI in the first place? It appears that even if people do report this to the FBI, it is not taking these reports seriously.

Even if this is nothing more than a prank, we have shown weakness to our foreign enemies.

We need to act immediately. This is an urgent matter of national security. Send your urgent faxes to Congress to put Americans first.

Fox News reporters were clearly disappointed that no information was leaked to the media from a U.S. House confidential security briefing. In past confidential briefings to legislators, key information was released to the media within seconds. This time, our Representatives are silent.

“The government knows what is happening,” Donald Trump claimed, although the extent of the government's knowledge is unknown. “Look, our military knows where they took off from. If it’s a garage, they can go right into that garage. They know where it came from and where it went. And for some reason, they don't want to comment. And I think they’d be better off saying what it is. Our military knows and our president knows. And for some reason, they want to keep people in suspense.”

Trump concluded, “For some reason, they don't want to tell the people, and they should.” Help us demand answers. Our nation needs to be able to look up at the night sky without fear. Tell Congress to investigate these events and demand transparency and decisive action that will protect our rights and freedom.
