The Bible says: “Rescue those being led away to death; hold back those staggering toward slaughter” (Proverbs 24:11).

This is a critical time for pro-life free speech ... it is truly life and death.

Since FACE was enacted in 1994, state and federal pro-abortion prosecutors have used this law to silence pro-life viewpoints so that more children can be sacrificed on Planned Parenthood’s altar. One example is Mary Susan Pine. For the last 20 years, she spent almost every Saturday in front of an abortion clinic, the Presidential Women’s Center (PWC) in West Palm Beach, Florida.

No one should have to experience what Susan faced. On the heels of President Trump’s pardon of people jailed under FACE, we now have momentum to finally repeal this law. Demand Congress pass the FACE Act Repeal Act of 2025.

Susan counsels women considering abortion and offers help, resources, and support for those who choose life. However, for offering help, former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder brought the full weight of the federal government against Susan, seeking thousands of dollars from her through a politically motivated prosecution designed to silence pro-lifers.

She did absolutely nothing wrong, but she was dragged into extended litigation with the full weight of the federal government crushing down on her. Imagine when she read the Complaint — United States v. Susan Pine!

Susan was sued by the Department of Justice for a single allegation that a car allegedly stopped briefly to take a flyer as the car entered the driveway of the abortion clinic. The abortion clinic had videos for every day — except, somehow, that day was mysteriously erased. This is the sole allegation of the lawsuit.

Susan was targeted because the pro-abortion prosecutors wanted to silence her. In her soft-spoken and Christ-like demeanor, Susan was effective.

After several years of costly litigation, the federal judge dismissed the case and sanctioned the Department of Justice for bringing the frivolous lawsuit.

Soon after the case was dismissed, Susan returned to the clinic and spoke with a young unmarried, abortion-minded couple in college. When the dad complained that the baby would interfere with his education, Susan directed him to take responsibility for the life he created.

But in the middle of their conversation, a clinic escort and a police officer hired by the clinic interrupted Susan’s consensual conversation — as they often do. The escort physically took the mother into the clinic as she started crying, and they disappeared inside.

Susan, and those with her, prayed. Soon thereafter, the parents came back and said that Susan’s words had persuaded the couple to save their baby. She then connected them with pregnancy resources.

She called our team to say: “We saved a life today.”

But if these pro-abortion prosecutors had succeeded, Susan would be in prison, and this baby would have been slaughtered.

 Under the FACE Act, people like Susan can still be targeted, improperly accused, and unjustly prosecuted by a local, state, or federal prosecutor. And even abortion clinics can use this weapon to silence people like Susan.
