Last night, Senate Democrat leadership made public their plans to stall the budget vote needed by tomorrow to avoid a government shutdown. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer is saying he wants to control the budget process even though he lost both the Senate and White House. He is now demanding Republicans, who control all three bodies, pass his Democrat-priority budget. The Senate will be voting shortly on this and Congress urgently needs to hear from you to stand strong and DEFUND the waste, fraud, and abuse NOW!!!!

Just when you thought you have heard everything — it gets worse. The National Institutes of Health revealed the following grants:

• 620,000 dollars was spent on “an LGB+ inclusive teen pregnancy prevention program for transgender boys,” and this study hints that “because these children view themselves as boys, they are naïve to the fact pregnancy is possible.” Are you kidding?

• 699,000 dollars to study “cannabis use” among “s*xual minority gender diverse individuals.”

• 740,000 dollars to examine “social networks” among “black and Latino s*exual minority men in New Jersey.”

• 50,000 dollars for assessing “s*xual health” among “LGTBQ+ Latinx youth in an agricultural community.”

• 75,000 dollars for researching “structural racism.”

The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) is uncovering an incredible amount of waste, fraud, and abuse. However, the stopgap spending package includes even MORE spending than under the Democrats, mostly because of the defense and border wall allocations.

But don’t get confused. This spending package in Phase 1 is primarily due to the Biden administration. In Phase 2, President Trump will release his budget in April, and there needs to be a massive effort to not just balance the budget but also to reduce the federal deficit. It is easy for Congress to spend and hard to reduce spending.

Congress needs to hear loud and clear from you. Send your faxes to demand that Congress follow President Trump’s lead and end all nonessential spending!

As if you needed more reasons to stop this anti-American spending, the Department of Agriculture found a 600,000-dollar grant to study menstrual cycles and made the claim that it includes “transgender men” — in other words, in women who want to be “identified” as “men.” News flash — men don’t have menstrual cycles!

Democrats made many statements for spending cuts before they were against DOGE. All of the following statements were made by Democrats:

• “We cannot keep our promises on Medicare. We simply must make the cuts in waste, fraud, and abuse in Medicare so that the benefits and the premiums are untouched” (Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi).

• “There is an enormous amount of waste, and fraud, and abuse in this government. When there is waste and fraud, you have an administration that should also be on top of that situation” (Sen. Bernie Sanders).

• “If we are going to eliminate the waste, fraud, and abuse in Medicare, it does mean we are going to cut some of that out. … You can’t just get up there and say we don’t want to cut anything out of Medicare. We want to cut the bad stuff and keep the good stuff” (Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer).

It is time for Congress to act. Congress is coming down to the wire with a Continuing Resolution on which aspects of the government will be funded. Right now, Elon Musk is racing against the clock to find as much harmful spending as possible to get it pulled from the next budget.
