DOE Displacing Parents. . .

Mar 27, 2025

It is not just Christian schools that are under attackit is also Christian parents (and anyone with common sense) in the crosshairs of the Department of Education (DOE).

A known transgender molester was given access to public school girls. When he acted a second time, the school system came down AGAINST THE VICTIMS! This story sent shockwaves across the nation, especially when an explosive memo surfaced from the FBI and the Criminal Division of the U.S. attorney general’s office. It compared legitimately frustrated parents and PTO moms to domestic terrorists and advocated they be treated accordingly just because they dared to speak out against this abuse and injustice!

Most people don’t realize this shocking memo was requested and directed by a string of emails coming from the desk of the secretary of the DOE, a department weaponized against victims and people of faith!

This fiasco in Loudoun County, Virginia, exposed how a school system claimed there were zero instances of s*xual assault in its efforts to demand transgender students have the “right” to use their preferred bathrooms. A biological boy molested a girl in May 2021 inside the girls’ bathroom and the school quietly passed him on to the next school. By October 2021, this boy molested another young girl.

In the midst of this ongoing abuse, the school tried to hide it while giving the abuser a fresh batch of potential victims!

Parents were understandably furious that the school knowingly hid this information and put their girls at risk and allowed a known offender to enter the girls’ bathrooms.

Enter the federal Department of Education. . .

Remember, the DOE fined Liberty University a Christian university more than 14 million dollars for what it deemed a failure to properly report such crimes, even AFTER the university spent 10 million dollars of its own money to update systems, procedures, and staffing to fully address the matter.

But when this public school knowingly and intentionally put the abuser back into the same situation with potential new victims with no warning to them the Department of Education flipped 180 degrees.

The DOE did not work to protect these girls. Not even close.

In an email exchange, the education secretary at that time, Miguel Cardona, asked the FBI and the Criminal Division of the attorney general’s office to investigate the parents for daring to speak up against the injustice, harassment, and abuse that these girls faced alone! This weaponization of the DOE must stop. But President Trump cannot eliminate the DOE altogether because the DOE was established by law in 1979, and, constitutionally, it must be repealed by law.

End the DOE Now with HR 899!

Current estimates are that for every 10 dollars spent on education, the Department of Education is skimming one dollar off the top. Yet for that high cost, people even in the field of education stammer and stutter to find anything that the DOE actually accomplishes that benefits kids in the classroom.

You hear the term “oversight. But kids learn best when a local school board is accountable to parents, not some radical ideologue in D.C. Funds are best distributed as close to the students as possible, not stuck in some bureaucratic quagmire.

Even the Associated Press admits that if the DOE is dismantled,In the short term, students, teachers and parents likely won’t see much impact.

If common sense would rein on Capitol Hill, then both sides of the aisle should agree that the DOE is exactly where we should start cutting waste!

But dont hold your breath. We have every expectation that some will whine and howl to keep a department with no discernible benefit to our nation’s children

Under the DOE, the United States has fallen from being “ranked #1 in education during the early to mid-20th century,” according to U.S. Education News.

Since the DOE was established, our international education rankings have been dropping about five ranks every decade. As of 2024, the United States educational system is ranked 31st globally. It’s comparable to other countries ranking in the 30s, like Hungary, Greece, Turkey, and even Mexico.

This lengthy decline underscores DOE's failure to uphold educational standards while it spends our tax dollars to unjustly target Christian institutions like Liberty University.

By standing with us, you help protect girls as well as institutions that respect and uphold Christian values. Please give today — whether you can give 25, 50, 100, or more, your support is crucial in this battle!
