How much longer must we wait? America continues to fall behind the world each year the Department of Education (DOE) is in power. Let’s remove this cancer and Make Education Great Again. In 1981, two years after Jimmy Carter created the DOE, Ronald Reagan said that “we cannot only reduce the budget but ensure that local needs and preferences, rather than the wishes of Washington, determine the education of our children.”

That didn’t happen, and now our school system is collapsing under the weight of DEI policies, LGBTQ agendas, and unfunded bureaucratic mandates.

President Trump needs our help to carry out what Ronald Reagan promised but never did — defund and dismantle the DOE. Fax Congress and demand they pass HR 899 to defund and dismantle the DOE!

State and local governments are struggling under the unfunded federal mandate to educate illegal aliens. While it costs around 15,000 dollars to educate an American (English-speaking) child in public school, the cost more than doubles to approximately 33,000 dollars per student for illegals who do not speak English.

In 2020, state and county governments spent approximately 78 BILLION dollars annually to educate illegals. And that number mushroomed under Joe Biden!

We can and must end the DOE. Stop the decline.

The DOE is harming our children. . .

The DOE is a bloated and ineffective agency. Teachers and school administrators struggle to name any negative impact in the classroom on our children if the entire department were dismantled.

One of the DOE’s initiatives is a technology grant that gives iPads to students. However, there are alarming reports of children staying up all night watching social media and videos on these DOE-issued devices. This means they are fatigued, exhausted — and failing both emotionally and scholastically.

This would be a non-issue with books. Kids don’t stay up until 5 a.m. reading.

Anything the DOE attempts to do, state and local involvement (especially parental involvement) can do better.

It is time to end the DOE and return control to the states and to parents.

HR 899 is a bill designed to dismantle the DOE by the end of 2026. But to keep this bill from stalling, we need to FLOOD Congress with demands to hold the DOE accountable — today!
