Dems See This As "Urgent"

Jun 7, 2025

Former Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said, when the “Equality Act” was introduced this time, “As Republicans across the country continue their assault on LGBTQ+ Americans — particularly the trans community — the fight against bigotry and discrimination remains as urgent as ever.”

These Democrat leaders are serious about using this issue to crush our freedom. HR 15 is not about equality — if it were, the bill would not expressly state that the Religious Freedom Restoration Act shall not be a defense! This is the most expansive faith-and-freedom-crushing bill to ever come out of Congress!

There is no time to delay our pushback against this radical bill. We are at a critical moment of decision as to whether this bill will move forward ... or not.

The vote margins are slim in both the House and the Senate. And we know that Republicans in BOTH chambers have previously voted for the Equality Act. If only a few vote in favor, this bill will pass.

Please rush your urgent fax to Congress to stop HR 15.

Churches and religious schools must have the right to teach the next generation biblical values. Without this freedom, churches and schools close or go underground. Communist countries relentlessly target churches to silence them. That is exactly what HR 15 (the “Equality Act”) does.

Imagine your children at church or Christian school being taught by a male “drag queen,” and the church or school is powerless to say, “No, this violates our biblical beliefs!” Seems far-fetched? It’s not. We actually have a case of an elementary teacher in Madison, Wisconsin, who sent all the k-5 children a video telling them to no longer refer to him as “Mr.” From henceforth, they must refer to him as “Mx.” because he is “neither male nor female.” He says he is “both, and sometimes neither.”

If this person, who now goes by “Mx. Steele,” taught your children in your church or school, HR 15 would give him the legal right to do what he did in this public school. Resistance would result in lawsuits by the attorney general and private individuals for “discrimination.”

The Equality Act will force churches and religious schools — pre-k through college — to remain silent and submit.

Send faxes immediately to help us fight this outrageous bill.

Not only will churches and religious schools face costly lawsuits, they’ll lose tax exemption, and schools will lose accreditation. For most schools, especially colleges and universities, loss of accreditation is a death sentence. Remember the for-profit ITT Technical Institute? It closed after losing accreditation. With students unable to get student loans and not being able to go on to graduate school, the loss of accreditation is devastating.

The Equality Act will also force churches and religious organizations that perform marriage ceremonies to provide the facilities for same-sex ceremonies … or face crushing lawsuits.

Abuse shelters for women will be forced to allow men to sleep in the same rooms with women. Churches will be forced to allow boys to sleep with girls on overnight trips.

The Equality Act will affect everyone, including the individual working part-time from home providing goods or services online. It is a massive expansion of the federal government.

Time is short and every vote counts. Everyone reading this email should respond by sending a fax and/or signing our petition.

Send your urgent faxes now to demand our senators stop HR 15.

Chris Weaver led “worship” at his “church” in New York called Zoe Ministries. Yet Chris would go straight from church to put on makeup and perform in drag as “Nedra Belle” at local specialized bars.

He even bragged to a reporter, “Listen, the children better be ready” for his drag queen performance as “Nedra Belle.”

If the Equality Act becomes law, trying to stop someone like Chris from performing in drag at your church or synagogue would be met with lawsuits, fines, loss of tax exemption, and more.

We have a very narrow window to stop this bill. I’m asking you to make your voice heard on Capitol Hill by sending a fax directly to key decision-makers in Congress. They need to hear from you. Join us in blocking this dangerous bill with your urgent fax now.
