He Saved Lives — Now We Must Save Him

Aug 28, 2025

Injured by mandate, abandoned by law

He rushed into burning buildings to save lives. He carried strangers to safety through smoke and fire for 15 years. This wasn’t a career; it was a calling. Everyday O’Brian Pastrana put his life on the line as a firefighter to save his fellow New Yorkers. He hoped to someday become a fire marshal and continue a lifetime of service.

But his dream was upended when his supervisor told him to take the COVID shot or get out.

He relented and took the first shot. It immediately caused hives, swelling of the lips, chills, and symptoms so severe that this firefighter with a nurse wife went to the hospital. The symptoms lasted for weeks. He went to an allergy specialist, but he couldn’t be diagnosed because he was already on so much allergy medication to manage his symptoms. Yet the Fire Department of New York ignored these medical warnings and demanded O’Brian take a second dose of the COVID shot — or lose everything he had worked his whole life to build.

Meanwhile, Pfizer and Moderna rake in billions and are shielded from all responsibility. They make it, break people like O’Brian, and walk away with hundreds of billions in their pockets. Congress is considering two bills to hold vaccine manufacturers accountable. Urge them to act now to support HR 4668 and HR 4388 to allow justice for families like O’Brian’s to receive the financial help and compensation caused by these injections.

O’Brian loved his job so much, he rolled up his sleeve a second time — and nearly died, with a crippling disability to follow.

O’Brian said right after the second shot, “I was having shortness of breath, chest pain and I was super fatigued — I couldn’t do anything. I was afraid I was going to die.” His wife, a nurse, was worried he had a heart condition. But despite being severely ill, he was in disbelief, “I was 35, I have no cardiac history, I thought it couldn’t be that.”

After another trip to the ER, records show O’Brian was diagnosed with myocarditis and was on the brink of heart failure.

He was told, “You can never again be a NYC firefighter.’” In shock, “I kept saying to myself, maybe if I get a second opinion or a third opinion, maybe I’ll hear something different. Every single one of them said the same thing.”

He finally had to face the truth, that he was severely disabled and even the New York City Fire Department (FDNY) Board of Health doctors begrudgingly concluded his heart damage was caused by the COVID-19 shot.

Within days, myocarditis ended his firefighting career forever. Forced into disability retirement at 50% of his salary, he now barely survives. His wife is working overtime on her days off, and they are borrowing from family members to keep a roof over their head.

Meanwhile vaccine manufacturers cash in with hundreds of billions in profits from these shots (and all vaccines). Records now prove that these manufacturers knew myocarditis was a deadly side effect from COVID shots and intentionally hid that information from the public to chant their false incantation of “safe and effective.”

When O’Brian sought justice, the Fire Department kept him at that same level of disability, denying the accident coverage at 75% of his salary. He appealed to a federal court, but the judge said it was his “choice” to take the shot because he could have quit his job. So now the system blames the victim. That is beyond cruel.

O’Brian did what he was commanded to do. And now no one is responsible for the injuries forced on him that he will take to the grave. But Congress could fix this injustice by repealing these corporate immunity laws. Make these manufacturers responsible for their actions. Congress will not act unless you demand it. Fax them now — before Big Pharma buries these bills.

Big Pharma’s Unshakable Shield

No matter how many lives are ruined, no matter how many families fall apart, vaccine manufacturers are protected by our current laws. Even if they knowingly injure people, no one can touch them.

But you have the power to change that. Urge Congress to support HR 4668 and HR 4388 to strip this immunity, allowing people to pursue justice. Congress will only act if they hear your voice.

Fax Congress right now. Demand support for HR 4668 and HR 4388. Hold Big Pharma accountable where it hurts, their pocketbook.

Will America protect its people — or bow to the billions of Big Pharma and their lobbyists in Congress?

When you give today, you empower our organization, which is one of the few willing to speak on Capitol Hill about this uncomfortable truth.

We are 100% reliant on your support to get this message out and we are facing a mountain of money pushing for the status quo. Meanwhile people like O’Brian are just trying to survive the next round of bills and put one foot in front of the other.

Help us tell his story in the halls of Congress by giving a single or recurring gift today. Your fax and gift are weapons in this battle for justice.
