A teacher in Plano, TX, is suing to restart school clubs pushing gender identity. While 19 of the Plano schools are getting a C grade or below, this teacher is pushing controversial and toxic ideas — instead of math and spelling. Radicals are imposing these LGBTQ views on very young children, when even those much older can be deceived and trapped in their lies.

When top Democrats reintroduced the so-called “Equality Act” in both chambers (HR 15/S 1503), Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) called it “necessary, urgent, and long overdue,” signaling an aggressive push.

Schumer threatened on MSNBC to destroy anything standing in the way of passing the so-called “Equality Act.” “If [Republicans] vote no on everything … our caucus will have to get together and figure out how to get it done,” he said. “Everything will be on the table. Failure is not an option. We cannot turn away from the big, bold change that is needed.”

And part of that “big, bold change” is the Equality Act, which is one of Schumer’s main priorities.

Warning from a decorated Navy SEAL

While serving as a Navy SEAL, Chris Beck struggled with gender confusion. His counselor urged him to “identify” as a “woman,” stating “we could write a book and make millions.”

So Chris took the name “Kristin,” received a book deal, and was featured in multiple documentaries. President Obama opened the military to LGBTQ.

But Chris later said, “I was very naïve, I was in a really bad way, I got taken advantage of, I got propagandized, I got used badly by a lot of people who had knowledge way beyond me, that they knew what they were doing.” Chris stopped taking the hormones.

“Everything that happened to me for the last 10 years is just horrible. It destroyed my life. I destroyed my life. I’m not a victim. I did it to myself, but I had some help to hurt it,” Chris said (emphasis added).

Chris found hope in Jesus; and he stopped being deceived.

Chris’ story reveals what LGBTQ lobbyists are desperate to hide, that there is hope. But if the Equality Act passes, that hope will be crushed. The propaganda collapses

Dr. Lisa Diamond is a self-avowed lesbian and co-editor of the APA’s Handbook of Sexuality and Psychology. Yet she openly admits that both children and adults can and do change. She wrote:

“Although change in adolescence and emerging adulthood is understandable, change in adulthood contradicts the prevailing view of consistency in sexual orientation” (APA Handbook, Vol. 1, p. 562).

“Therapy that is open to change is more harmonious … than is gay-affirmative therapy,” wrote Laura Haynes, Ph.D., in her publication “The American Psychological Association Says Born-That-Way-And-Can't Change Is Not True of Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity.”

People deserve the freedom to seek the counseling they want — even if it opposes the LGBTQ agenda. Democrats have given voice to a dangerous narrative that change is impossible, and the “Equality Act” is just about equal treatment. Both are lies.

HR 15 would crush that freedom and punish those who refuse to promote the LGBTQ agenda. Urge Congress to stand strong against the Equality Act silencing the counseling that Chris wanted and needed.
