Beth Bourne, a mother and conservative leader, made her point to the school board when she took off her shirt during her testimony, exposing her bathing suit underneath.
The school board chairman immediately gaveled a recess. Beth was merely showing board members how inappropriate it is to ask girls to undress in front of boys under that board’s “transgender” locker-room policy.
“This is what girls are facing,” she said before the board cut her off. Sadly, the board is refusing to change its position.
In contrast to California, Texas just passed laws to protect girls.
But now Congress wants to make Texas and every state like California by passing the “Equality Act.” Every Democrat supports HR 15. And this week, they got one more vote following Arizona’s special election. With just a few more votes, this bill will pass.
HR 15 would erase every safeguard for women and punish anyone who objects. This would make America California.
Tell Congress to vote NO on the Equality Act before any more children and women are put at risk.
In Texas, parents were worried about their girls being assaulted in bathrooms, showers, and locker rooms as well as being hurt in sports.
At Round Rock ISD (Independent School District), a mother filed a formal grievance after her daughter walked into the locker room to change and encountered a boy. Apparently, her school had quietly allowed a boy access to that private space without informing parents.
The district dragged its feet to provide information, even when parents demanded answers. The family was furious.
So, these parents took the matter to their state representatives, and the legislature passed two laws. The Women’s Privacy Act (SB 8) requires multi-user restrooms, locker rooms, and showers in public schools, universities, and government buildings to be designated and used according to biology.
However, if the Equality Act is passed in Congress, it would wipe out ALL of these hard-fought protections in every state and force every bathroom and locker room to comply with radical gender ideology.
Tell Congress with your faxes now: Don’t make America California.
Women asked for privacy and safety. Texas legislators listened. If anyone violates these laws, there is real enforcement:
But if the Equality Act passes, those hard-fought protections are over.
The Equality Act would erase all the progress Texas has made. It will punish anyone who stands in the way. Counselors, parents, teachers, children — all could be silenced for defending biological reality.
We must stop the Equality Act before it erases women, religious freedom, and parental authority.
Fax Congress today to demand a NO vote on HR 15. And please consider giving 25, 50, or 100 dollars — or better yet, a monthly recurring gift — to keep Liberty Counsel Action fighting on Capitol Hill.
