The driving motivation for the shakedown

Yesterday, the Senate Democrats voted down the 15th vote to fund our government with a clean continuing resolution (CR). Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and AOC (D-NY) are hurting Americans to pursue their extreme agenda — all while voting down a pause on their own paychecks.

Hiding behind PR-polished talking points, the Democrats’ highest priority is to USE OUR TAX DOLLARS TO PAY FOR ELECTIVE ABORTIONS.

Most Americans oppose taxpayer-funded elective abortions, but these radicals don’t care.

Killing children under the Orwellian phrase “reproductive choice” is the Democrats’ highest priority — human sacrifice on their altar of depravity.

Taxpayer-funded abortions are the linchpin in the shutdown battle, but few know this truth … and even fewer are talking about it.

A closely guarded Senate “working group” is crafting a “compromise” regarding extending Obamacare subsidies, which may also include abortion. This is unacceptable!

This “Schumer Shutdown” was planned and packaged to advantage Democrats. Democrats were having strategy calls — EVEN BEFORE IT STARTED. They have a war room set up in partnership with far-left organizations. They were planning this shutdown and even testing how to roll it out to the public.

To create it, Democrats had to vote against essentially the same continuing resolution that they supported in March — and a dozen other times. This political gamesmanship and jockeying are why it is so important to send your faxes and demand that the Senate does its job. Democrats are willing to hurt Americans, including our service members, to advance abortion and illegals.

How Democrats Plan to Discard the Hyde Amendment:

As I noted above, some Republican senators are crafting a “compromise” that will fund the killing of babies to appease the Democrats. I litigated the first private lawsuit against Obamacare. We’ve fought against this slide down to socialized medicine from Day One.

In Obamacare, Section 1303 mandated that insurance plans covering abortion had to bill that portion separately from the rest of the premium. Later guidance let insurers process the charges together in one combined payment, erasing the line the statute tried to draw.

A 2014 Government Accounting Office (GAO) did a spot check of 18 providers and found widespread noncompliance. Not a single insurance provider segregated the funds. The guardrails put in place to protect tax dollars from paying for abortions clearly aren’t working.

If Congress expands this subsidy (and makes it permanent) as Democrats are demanding through the shutdown, it will expand the number of people enrolled in subsidized insurance plans, with a single payment, that includes abortion coverage.

This is the real reason Democrats are wailing for so-called “health care,” but in reality, it is “death care” they are demanding! This fight isn’t just over “keeping the lights on” — it’s over whether a subsidy extension without explicit pro-life guardrails would channel taxpayer dollars into plans that include elective abortion.
