The amount of money and how the Democrats want to spend it will shock you. And this is the root of the government Shakedown.

Yesterday, on day eight of the shutdown, the U.S. Senate was once again stopped by Democrats. You will be astounded at the actual issues involved.

This morning, the clean funding measure that the House already passed failed to reach the required 60 votes in the Senate.

The longer the government is shut down, the more pressure mounts against Republicans to give in to the Democrats’ outlandish demands.

Tell Congress to stop the hostage tactics. Pass the clean continuing resolution (CR). Protect taxpayers: no funding illegals and no funding abortion. Send your faxes to Congress to NOT fund abortion and free health care for illegal aliens.

Instead of a clean CR that keeps the government running for another seven weeks, Democrats want to add 1.5 TRILLION DOLLARS to the debt. To understand the magnitude of 1.5 trillion dollars, you would have to spend 1 million dollars EVERY hour for 171 years!

This staggering amount will span at least three generations or more —your lifetime, your child’s lifetime, and your grandchild’s lifetime.

How do the Democrats want to spend 1.5 trillion dollars? They want to give free Medicaid insurance to millions of illegal aliens. They want to fund abortion. They want to prop up Obamacare. And they want to fund DEI and LGBTQ indoctrination in foreign countries.

Tell Congress to hold the line — pass a clean CR and reject these ransom demands.

While Democrats play politics, Trump feeds babies.

The WIC program provides nutrition for nearly 7 million low-income moms and children. WIC was projected to run out of money at any moment this week.

Sen. Chuck Schumer (pressured by AOC) were trying to hold the WIC program in limbo, causing babies and their mothers to suffer to win policy concessions from Republicans — all so that they can provide free health care to illegal aliens and taxpayer-covered abortions.

But President Trump is not your normal politician. In response, the White House just announced a creative solution: Trump is willing to use money from the 200 billion he generated from tariff revenue to keep WIC funded so mothers can buy formula and keep food on their tables.

On one hand, Democrats are willing to hurt America’s poorest children and then demand that taxpayers fund “free” health care for illegal aliens.

Speaker Mike Johnson confirmed that the House is done — the clean funding bill is on the Senate’s desk — and he won’t bring members back for “show votes” while Democrats filibuster the CR.

GOP leadership in the Senate is hearing from you. “We’ve got to open up the government” first, before policy talks — not after a ransom is paid, said Senate Majority Leader John Thune.
