The Schumer Shutdown is falling apart

Late last night the Senate overcame the 60-vote filibuster as eight Senate Democrats joined Republicans to support a bill that is much the same as the Continuing Resolution (CR) going back to November last year. There is one final Senate vote, and this new version must pass the House.

The main change is that Sen. Tim Kaine (D-VA) requests back pay and reinstatement of federal workers fired during this shutdown. This bill (in 405 pages) was released just a few hours ago and will do the following:

• Fund the government with this CR through Jan. 31, 2026.

• Promise a December vote on Obamacare subsidies.

• Reverse federal worker layoffs since Oct. 1.

• Full-year funding for Veterans Affairs.

• Full-year funding for SNAP welfare.

This bill is a huge defeat for the Schumer Shutdown. Democrats said Obamacare was supposed to be solvent. It was supposed to reduce costs. It was supposed to pay for itself because it would be so “efficient.” That was a lie. They want YOU to pay an extra 1.5 TRILLION dollars and promise to fund Obamacare permanently.

They want you to pay for their mistakes and — through the shutdown — they are holding our nation hostage. Tell Congress we must end the gravy train for people here illegally, harming people and bankrupting our systems. Do not cave. Send as many faxes as possible today.

Under Joe Biden, Democrats subsidized Obamacare. Those subsidies expired November 1. To save this sinking ship, Chuck Schumer (D-NY) wants to continue these subsidies forever, and he wants to pay for illegals to get “free health care.”

Some blue states have now been caught funneling millions — one state up to 1 billion taxpayer dollars — to give free health care to illegals.

And this shutdown was happening while some seniors are running out of medication and others have no food, and our military, law enforcement, TSA, and air traffic controllers have not been paid in five weeks, illegal immigrants receive medical care for which YOU are forced to pay.

Under President Trump’s leadership, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz reported that they have uncovered massive abuse of the Medicaid system — MILLIONS and even a BILLION taxpayer dollars used to provide medical coverage for illegals.

Even worse, some states apparently tried to hide how they billed the federal government, funneling costs from the feds into state-run programs and then using your tax dollars to quietly pay for illegals.

Dr. Oz reported that his team found these problems in California, Illinois, Colorado, Oregon, Washington state, and Washington, D.C. These places have one thing in common — they are run by Democrats. They have been siphoning federal Medicaid funds to cover illegals, which, in turn, encourages more people to enter our nation illegally.

California alone appears to be at the center of this operation. Dr. Oz noted that California misspent 1.3 billion on people not eligible for Medicaid.

• Illinois spent 30 million.
• Oregon, 5.4 million.
• Colorado, 1.5 million.
• Washington state, 2.4 million. 
• Washington, D.C., 2.1 million.

When Dr. Oz began demanding transparency, the bureaucratic establishment slammed on the brakes — because they know that if the American people saw the numbers, they would demand accountability.

That’s where YOU come in. Congress must hear from you now. The pressure cooker on Capitol Hill is increasing every day. Tell Congress with your faxes: DO NOT CAVE in this shutdown to give Democrats control of our nation and destroying our future.

More than 1 billion went to illegals and these blue states tried to hide it, to justify it, and to shut down the investigation.

CMS identified more than 170,000 questionable enrollment records connected to individuals who may not be eligible for Medicaid.

But here’s the kicker: A federal judge blocked CMS from sharing information with immigration authorities, slowing down the investigation, shielding states from scrutiny, and hiding the true scope of the problem.

However, the message is loud and clear: The Biden-era Democrat networks are still alive and protecting illegals at YOUR expense.

Even with President Trump back in the Oval Office, his team must fight entrenched forces in the courts and inside the Deep State. And those forces are fighting hard to keep the truth buried and your taxes rolling in.
