The U.S. House is returning now for a vote first thing tomorrow on a bill to end the shutdown. Last night, the Senate passed this bill and is sending it to the House. Afterward, it must reach the desk of President Trump. While Chuck Schumer’s shutdown failed miserably, there are still concerns in this bill we must watch closely.
Democrats started this shutdown. But eight Democrat senators caved and are supporting a largely clean, Republican-promoted version that excludes most of the things Schumer and AOC originally demanded. While the final passage could happen this week, we can’t give up when Schumer is on the ropes.Radical Democrats are in meltdown mode.Democrats on Capitol Hill are furious that this “opportunity” to remake our nation — and to stick taxpayers with the bill — is slipping away. They were willing to hold millions of Americans hostage to push their agenda. They are not going to give up, nor can we.Congress needs to hear from you until a good bill is signed. Demand that Congress pass a clean funding bill to end the Schumer Shakedown. Urge the House to oppose the Schumer Shakedown and pass a clean funding bill.
Democrats were counting on sticking President Trump (and YOU) with the bill for socialized medicine, health care for illegals, and a massive expansion of the federal bureaucracy. They believed that if they extended this shutdown long enough, Republicans would cave.
They were wrong.
Democrats lost 42 days holding the people hostage for their demands. They gambled that you, legislators, and Trump wouldn’t fight back, but everyone did — and thus far, that has made the difference.
Once Republicans held the line, Democrats folded. Now they’re scrambling to save face.
This is still a critical moment. We must keep the pressure on because there is NO guarantee the House will approve the Senate bill. Democrats are furious their scheme is crumbling, and they are plotting to reinsert their spending demands.
That’s why your voice matters right now.
Congress must hear loud and clear that America rejects every part of this political shakedown. Members of Congress are feeling the heat. Tell them not to bow to the extreme demands of Schumer and AOC with your faxes today.
Eight Senate Democrats broke ranks with Schumer — now we must end this Schumer Shakedown.
This was a Democrat-manufactured crisis. Meanwhile, families across America are being hurt. Air traffic is suffering and chaotic.
And yet — through this adversity — we have hope.
Many staffers and interns on Capitol Hill have been attending weekly Bible studies that are being hosted at our offices. We are even providing food for those who have not been paid for five weeks.
We are nearing the finish line. But we are not there yet.
We cannot relax. Not now. Not when the radicals are regrouping. Send your urgent faxes today.
Liberty Counsel Action is engaging daily on the Hill, equipping congressional champions, and shining light on the truth the media refuses to report. We can only continue because friends like you step up when it matters.
Our team is on the ground on Capitol Hill — meeting lawmakers, delivering your petitions, and urging them to stand strong.
But for now, this fight continues. Your action is making a difference — but so is your support.

Let’s finish the fight and secure victory — before radicals seize back control.
