Obamacare is an abortion Trojan horse that will kill us

“You can vote your way into socialism, but you have to shoot your way back out.” On the surface, Obamacare looks appealing, but it is socialized medicine wrapped around abortion — like a Trojan horse.

Even though Obamacare is failing, ending it still will be a challenge. Obamacare has been one of the biggest single funders of abortion in America by allowing people to pick an abortion “rider” (add-on) to their insurance policies and then combining all the money into one pot.

Some Republican members of Congress want to fight this by giving Americans more control over their health-care dollars as a path to end taxpayer-funded, socialized Obamacare abortion coverage.

Of course, billionaire Mark Cuban, who owns a prescription drug company, attacked the idea as “really dumb.”

A socialized government slush fund like Obamacare will never work. Tell Congress to end federal subsidies for Obamacare and make health care great again!

Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-LA) is the chair of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee. He suggested that people be allowed to put more money into employer-sponsored accounts. This would give people the freedom to set aside more pre-tax dollars for medical expenses and choose how their money is spent.

"It's a sweet spot: lower premiums, help with the deductible, making the patient the informed consumer," Cassidy said.

But NBC News ran a headline claiming Republicans are scrambling for an “Obamacare fix” and portrayed the entire debate as “Trump’s MAGA backlash.”

Democrats want to use Obamacare to pay for abortions. They also want to use it as a wedge to fracture Republicans, weaken Trump, and terrify Congress into propping up a failing system for a decade.

They are counting on discord.

Obamacare made all of that worse. A lot worse! And it helped facilitate a large number of abortions nationwide.

Government cannot reduce costs by increasing its control. The more Washington intervenes, the higher prices escalate.

Here’s the real crisis: Republicans still do not have consensus on a replacement plan. Some are afraid of the insurance lobby and the media. Behind closed doors, staff are telling us they are trying to “see what can get agreement inside the party” before they push any bold reform.

Meanwhile, Democrats are united. Welfare voters are united. Pharmaceutical companies are united. Big insurance companies are united. They want more money.

Unless you speak up right now, the easiest path for Congress will be to fall back into the old pattern of fear and retreat — and keep pouring your tax dollars into a system that everyone knows is failing. Speak up NOW!
