Is Obamacare unraveling our nation?
I fear some Republicans may buckle under pressure to keep funding Obamacare — including funding for abortion and “trans” procedures. While we expect weak Republican politicians to defect — what is deeply alarming is to see some strong Republicans, people considered reliable defenders of life and limited government, are jumping ship on this issue. Even conservative Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) is on that list.
This is all happening right now as the House prepares for another vote this week — a vote that could come any moment.
The battle line is unmistakable: Republicans propose a plan that protects your tax dollars, banning expenditures on abortion or trans drugs and procedures. Democrats declared any plan that does not fund abortion and “trans” is a “non-starter.” They would rather collapse the whole Obamacare system than give up their demands.
Send Congress a clear message: Stop pouring our tax dollars through Obamacare into the evil of abortion and “trans” drugs and procedures.
To pass either plan, the Senate needs 60 votes. Recently four Republican senators shocked us by voting for the Dems’ plan, including Sens. Susan Collins (ME), Lisa Murkowski (AK), and Dan Sullivan (AK). These three are not surprising, but we did not expect Josh Hawley (MO) to cave. Meanwhile, Sen. Rand Paul (KY) opposed both the Democrat (Obamacare subsidies with abortion and trans) and the Republican proposal (Health Savings Accounts without abortion and trans coverage). Both failed by the same margin, 51-48.
Once people become dependent, politicians fear reform. This political reality is unmistakably playing out in Washington. Congress needs to hear from you today.
Send your faxes to Congress to urge them to only fund plans with zero dollars for abortion and “trans” procedures.
Republicans want to replace failing Obamacare being propped up with our tax dollars with Health Savings Accounts (HSA) — real money placed directly into the hands of individual Americans, empowering families to take charge of their own health care instead of being forced into the government’s maze of paperwork, delays, and ideological mandates. These HSAs restore basic freedom.
It is more efficient for people to control their own health dollars.
Just look at the cost increases under Obamacare. For many routine procedures, Medicaid reimburses roughly 6 dollars, while Obamacare pays closer to 10 dollars for the exact same service. Multiply that gap millions of times, and you begin to see why taxpayer dollars are hemorrhaging — funneled into bloated bureaucracy, red tape, and unnecessary mandates that are squeezing families and individuals across America.
This debate is complex, full of hidden incentives and unintended consequences. But one truth is simple: Congress must hear from you right now or Republicans will cave under midterm pressure and keep funding a system that forces you to subsidize abortions and “trans” procedures.
