Advancing Life and Liberty Through Action

The two tangents of history
On this Christmas Day, I am reminded of King Herod’s attempt to kill baby Jesus. The birth of our Lord created a tangent in history. Herod knew this much and that is why he slaughtered infants under 2 years of age.
As we celebrate Christmas and approach the end of the year, I am reminded of a scene in the movie Back to the Future 2, where there were two very different tangents of history. The stark difference is traced to a specific point in time. That scene is a good illustration of what we face in 2026.
We are tracking 17 statewide ballot measures across 11 states dealing with abortion, LGBTQ proposals, and same-sex “marriage.”
The outcome of these 17 ballot measures will affect the future of our nation for generations. We are leading a nationwide coalition to respond — but we cannot accomplish this without your help.
Stand with Liberty Counsel Action as we lead the charge to defend life, liberty, and the family.
These consequential initiatives could radically reshape policy on abortion and gender ideology.
In 2024 alone, activists spent over 250 million dollars on 11 abortion initiatives — with Florida’s battle breaking the record for the most expensive in history, coming in at a whopping 121 million.
The 2026 election cycle is shaping up to be no different. Proposed initiatives ranging from those that protect girls in sports, to same-sex marriage, to LGTBQ and “trans care,” to abortion up to birth (including infanticide).
America stands on the brink of historic decisions. These efforts could shift the political landscape for a lifetime.
We’ve seen how swings in political emotion can shape policy on these issues and change the control of entire chambers and shift momentum in key elections.
Engagement, organization, and rapid response will decide if the next year is a victory for life and family — or an irrevocable loss.
Liberty Counsel Action is already building a coalition to address these statewide efforts. But a coalition only has power when it has the resources to mobilize, communicate rapidly, and engage.
You know from our work on life ballot amendments in Florida and South Dakota that we have a blueprint for winning. We can shape the future, not just react to it.
Please give now — your urgent, generous donation makes this work possible.
This ballot effort is just one of many battles that we are gearing up for next year, including:
This is a call to arms. Your support will determine how much we can accomplish.
