They’re Not Wasting Any Time on This Vote

At any moment in the next 24 hours, House Democrats could succeed in forcing the largest expansion of Obamacare funding in history — without leadership approval and without voter consent.

Democrats (and a few Republicans) are using a procedural weapon called a discharge petition to ram Obamacare funding through Congress. This is a coordinated end run around House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) to fund a failing, government-run health care system. If this vote succeeds, the floodgates open — and there is no turning back. Shockingly, even President Trump is urging Republicans to “be a little flexible” on funding abortion with our tax dollars.

They are counting on your silence. Prove them wrong!

Make your voice heard now. Fax Congress immediately and demand they oppose HR 1834 and H.Res. 780. These Obamacare subsidy expansion votes are happening very soon and would continue to fund abortions.

This socialized government-run monstrosity will never work, and we are just throwing our money away. Tell Congress to stop forcing us to fund this failed program.

Here is the truth. Congress plans to vote either today or tomorrow, and if this passes, it will cripple our nation morally and financially for the next three years and waste hundreds of BILLIONS of dollars. This Obamacare expansion will fuel fraud, dependency, and government overreach. Obamacare premiums continue to rise, options and networks shrink, and patient choice disappears — yet they demand even more of your hard-earned dollars.

“Collectivism” has never worked, and Obamacare is an example. More money equals less quality and fewer choices.

Republicans have a plan in Congress, one that will naturally increase competition between insurance companies and put individuals more in control of their health care — but Democrats can’t stand that thought and are consistently voting to block it!

This vote centers on HR 1834 and H.Res. 780, a discharge petition that already has the required 218 signatures to force floor consideration. If adopted, it will expand our taxpayer funding of Obamacare for three more years, through the end of calendar year 2028. These extra subsidies expired in December.

Four Republicans caved. This includes Reps. Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA), Mike Lawler (R-NY), Rob Bresnahan (R-PA), and Ryan Mackenzie (R-PA).

Now, with the resignation of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene and yesterday’s passing of Doug LaMalfa, conservatives are now two more votes short. That means this could pass unless wavering lawmakers feel immediate pressure from constituents. Even now, legislators can still back away — but only if they hear from you.
