The Government Accounting Office New Report on Obamacare

The nonpartisan Government Accounting Office (GAO) found that nearly all of its fictitious test cases for 2024 and 2025 were approved by the Obamacare Marketplace. These results were similar to GAO testing for plan years 2014-2016.

For some, the Marketplace requested documentation to support Social Security Numbers (SSN), citizenship, and reported income. GAO did not provide documentation but still received coverage. Of the 20 fake applicants for 2025, 18 remained enrolled, totaling payments of 10,000 dollars per month.

And now Congress is being pressured to expand that same system, even as evidence mounts that it is hemorrhaging taxpayer dollars and embedding abortion funding deeper into federal health care.

For years, Americans were told Obamacare would stabilize costs and protect families. Instead, it created a structure that rewards volume over verification, speed over accountability, and ideology over life. Now, as lawmakers race toward another vote, the truth is finally being revealed.

If Congress expands Obamacare now, it will lock in fraud, subsidize abortion, and deepen federal control — all at once. Demand that Congress stop the Obamacare expansion and abortion funding.

We now know that insurance agents and brokers were paid headhunting commissions by insurance companies for each person they enrolled in Obamacare plans, giving unscrupulous agents a direct financial incentive to sign up as many applicants as possible.

All they needed to enroll someone was a name, birthday, and address.

The same SSN is often used multiple times. There is no check if an SSN has been used by more than one applicant.

Meanwhile, Joe Biden launched “fully subsidized” plans for anyone who applied with income between 100% and 150% of the federal poverty line. These fake enrollees didn’t have to pay one penny for their insurance coverage. Taxpayers picked up the tab.

Income verification was weakened. Automatic reenrollment was expanded. Zero-premium plans were removed any personal financial responsibility.

According to Paragon Health Institute, these changes detonated a predictable outcome — 6.4 million enrollees appear to be ineligible, with improper enrollment across nearly every state — and these numbers are GROWING EVERY YEAR in 48 states.

This is fraud on a massive scale. Obamacare prioritizes fraud over health care. Congress is being pushed to shovel more of your taxpayer money into it — even as those same subsidies can be used for health plans that include abortion. In at least nine states, the number of people signing up for heavily subsidized Obamacare plans now exceeds the number of people who legally qualify for them. In Florida alone, there are four times as many enrollees claiming to be in a low-income bracket than actually exist.

The problem is even worse in states that did not expand Medicaid and in states that use the federal Obamacare exchange at HealthCare.gov. Across those states, there are roughly 8.7 million sign-ups claiming eligibility — however, only about 5.1 million people should qualify, meaning the system is enrolling nearly two people for every one who is actually eligible.
