In Los Angeles County, there are reportedly about 2,000 hospice providers — which is more than there are in 36 states combined. Federal officials now believe 3.5 BILLION dollars have gone to fake hospice centers in California alone.

Investigators have uncovered a staggering abuse of Medicare and Obamacare fraud. About 112 so-called hospice agencies are listed at the same address. They claim to provide hospice care — but instead, taxpayers are being robbed by these shell companies.

Entire buildings filled with “hospice providers” have no staff, no patients, and no answers. One California audit found 112 licensed agencies listed at a single address. The doors were locked. Phones are unanswered. Laminated paper signs are taped to windowless doors — and 3.5 BILLION dollars are billed to Medicare from these silent offices.

These addresses have identical paper signs and empty hallways. One building has 12 or more “agencies” at a single location, with almost no one inside and no evidence of medical services. This massive fraud is being fueled by Obamacare.

Dr. Mehmet Oz, head of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), said that hospice care in Los Angeles County has exploded sevenfold in just five years ... where the average age is 37.

Dr. Oz asked: How can nearly one-fifth of the nation’s home health billing come from one county alone?

And yet Democrats — joined by some Republicans in the House — are pushing legislation to extend and expand this socialized health care system for years.
