This doesn’t have to be hard. . .
Election integrity is not complicated. It is rather simple.
The SAVE America Act (HR 7296) passed last week in the U.S. House. Now the last hurdle is the Senate. It requires proof of U.S. citizenship to register and a photo ID to vote in federal elections. A simple, common-sense requirement.
The Senate vote could happen at any moment. If we remain silent, this bill will stall. Send your urgent faxes now.
In Nigeria, every registered voter receives a Permanent Voter Card embedded with a microchip. During registration, officials capture all 10 fingerprints and a facial recognition–enabled photograph. On Election Day, voters must present that card and undergo biometric verification using fingerprint scanning or facial recognition before receiving a ballot. If the biometric match fails, the voter does not proceed.
Nigeria — a nation with political instability — requires not just photo ID but also fingerprints and computerized facial recognition to vote.
Meanwhile, in the United States — the most powerful and enduring constitutional republic in the world — we are still debating whether voters should even show a photo ID to vote. In many jurisdictions, individuals can register without documentary proof of citizenship. Some states require no photo ID at all.
Nigeria requires biometric verification. America argues that asking for a photo ID is somehow offensive to voting. Yet, to enter the House and Senate buildings in Washington, D.C., you must present a photo ID. Same for any federal courthouse in America!
The lack of a photo ID to vote should concern every citizen. Non-citizens should not vote. This should not be controversial. Urge the Senate to pass the SAVE America Act with your faxes.
To attend the Super Bowl, you had to present your ticket and a valid ID. There were no protestors crying discrimination. There was no outcry claiming minorities were being disenfranchised. Everyone understood that security and fairness require verification.
Yet when it comes to federal elections — the foundation of our republic — many Democrats claim photo ID is “Jim Crow 2.0.” Nonsense!
Investigations across the country have uncovered registrations tied to parking lots, empty parcels of land, construction sites, and commercial buildings. When ballots are mailed based on flawed voter rolls, the system breaks down. A simple safeguard — requiring voters to show a valid photo ID linked to their registration — makes this kind of abuse dramatically more difficult to continue.
The SAVE America Act provides that safeguard.
But it will not move unless the Senate feels pressure from you.
Fax Congress now. Tell every Senator that secure elections are not optional. They are foundational.
Liberty Counsel Action teams are working with members of Congress and their staff and coordinating grassroots action nationwide. Yet the most powerful message still comes from you — a citizen who cares enough to act.
Do not grow weary. Surrender is not an option. We can and must achieve secure elections.
Together we can pass the SAVE America Act. Make a single gift today. Or better yet, become a recurring supporter so we can sustain this fight through the midterms and beyond. Recurring gifts allow us to maintain constant pressure, fund outreach, and respond instantly as Senate action unfolds.
Your generosity fuels faxes, advocacy, research, and direct engagement when it matters most.
Your voice matters. Your support matters.
