URGENT: May 19 is a Critical Date

May 15, 2026

The countdown to May 19 is upon us

We are in the final countdown. By Tuesday, the Senate will “mark up” the budget reconciliation bill in preparation to move it to the House by June 1.

The good news is the 60-vote filibuster rule does not apply. Just a simple majority vote. The URGENT news is we must make sure there is no funding for Planned Parenthood and Big Abortion.

Congress is building the framework of a new budget reconciliation bill. This outline was released on May 4. Now, agencies and committees have until Tuesday — just two business days away — to bring a properly earmarked budget proposal ready to pass. As of yet, there is not a word inside this bill that will block Planned Parenthood and Big Abortion from getting your Medicaid tax dollars.

Let me repeat. The current language in the House and Senate does NOTHING to stop funds from flowing directly to abortion providers.

Urge Congress to stand strong against taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood and Big Abortion.

This week, House Majority Leader Steve Scalise, Rep. Chip Roy, and other conservative lawmakers met to discuss reconciliation priorities. Competing factions are discussing what battles matter most to them.

What matters most for some is driven by voter response. These lawmakers are scrambling to shape what will become one of the most consequential spending bills. But so far, not a word of this bill protects the most vulnerable of our society, the preborn.

That means unless Congress acts immediately, Americans could once again be forced to bankroll the abortion industry beginning July 4.

The decisions being made in the next two days can determine if we will have success or failure in this battle.

Every hour matters. Every fax matters. Every voice matters.

Send as many faxes as possible to stand for life.

Planned Parenthood received more than 800 million dollars in taxpayer funding in recent years — nearly 2 million every single day. Meanwhile, the organization continues to perform hundreds of thousands of abortions.

Americans should never be forced to fund this machinery of death.

Unless Congress inserts explicit defunding language NOW, taxpayer funding could restart once the current restriction ends on July 4.

One day of tax dollars funding abortion is one day too many.

Fax Congress right now to defund Planned Parenthood and Big Abortion before the deadline closes.

When you speak, Congress pays attention.

Silence now will mean you will fund Planned Parenthood and abortion.

Your immediate action could help stop hundreds of millions of dollars from flowing into the abortion industry.

But we cannot sustain this urgent fight without faithful supporters standing beside us.

Your gift today will help Liberty Counsel Action continue mobilizing grassroots pressure, engaging lawmakers, exposing budget maneuvers, and fighting to stop taxpayer funding for Planned Parenthood and Big Abortion.
