The so-called “fix” almost killed her

For an 11 year old, what began on glowing screens after midnight crippled her. Online chat rooms. Endless scrolling. Desperately seeking answers to escape the mental stressors.

Soren Aldaco was a lonely, confused, and hurting young girl. When she found other young people, and adults who began indoctrinating her, she felt she could rely on this new community for answers.

She was wrong. At age 11, Soren had no way of knowing what was ahead. She simply wanted relief, and she trusted these people.

Children like Soren need help. Puberty blockers, hormones, and mutilating surgeries are not the answer. You don’t give liposuction to an anorexic.

But now Congress is close to passing the so-called Transgender Bill of Rights that will inflict far more harm on confused kids like Soren.

Instead of addressing the underlying mental issues, this online community rushed Soren to drugs and surgery to “fix” her problem.

Now Soren lives with permanent scars, ongoing pain, and overwhelming regret after doctors rushed her through “gender-affirming care” while she was emotionally vulnerable and struggling with serious mental health issues.

“I essentially traded mental anguish for physical anguish,” Soren says.

But instead of listening to Soren, members of Congress are pushing the Transgender Bill of Rights.

The Transgender Bill of Rights will help facilitate the weaponization of the federal government against states, parents, doctors, counselors, schools, ministries, and anyone who will not celebrate radical gender ideology.

Online trans communities convinced Soren that she was born in the wrong body. Drugs and surgery were the answer.

At just 17, she began with testosterone. Soon afterward she underwent a double mastectomy. But the promised peace never arrived.

Instead, Soren suffered severe surgical complications, emotional devastation, and crushing regret. She later described feeling abandoned once the surgeries were complete and the complications began.

A hurting teenage girl looking for help found adults willing to destroy her body and her life. Adults with medical degrees told her that irreversible procedures would heal her pain.

Now she says she must live with the consequences of those lies for the rest of her life.

And members of Congress want to promote this damaging ideology.
